Kirklands House is far more than a bed and breakfast with the drive up to it instantly making you feel like you are at a country or manor house. We spent 2 nights at Kirklands whilst in Scotland for a damily wedding and wish we could have stayed longer. Wonderful hospitality, beautiful house, beautiful accommodatitions, beautiful gardens and grounds, delicious food -- we even got to meet the family pets! A definite place to return to...

A little over 40 minutes drive from Edinburgh Airport, Kirklands is a real hidden gem. First impressions are of a grand Victorian home, sat in extensive and well-maintained grounds – and the interior doesn’t disappoint either! Peter and Gill, the owners of Kirklands, provide a warm and friendly welcome to their family home. One thing is apparent when meeting them...

We have just returned from a weekend at Kirklands and one of the first things we did was to head on over to Tripadvisor to make sure everyone knows how good a place this is. After a hearty cooked breakfast where everything (except the mushrooms) was locally sourced and unbelievably tasty. My wife and I spent Friday at the nearby...
