The rooms are big enough, I thought mine was very clean. However, the bed spread I felt was old, and to be honest was wondering how often they are changed. There was no Wi-Fi that you paid separately, I was told it was fast, but it was not. On a bright side the hotel was close to shops and Queensgate Mall. But I think for the price one is paying it's rather high. The place really does need a makeover.
The service and food here has gone to the dogs, so arrogant and unprofessional. We asked for water 3 times and had to ask for food to be brought to our "private party room" this is after being hung up on making the booking. When we commented, we were told we didnt understand how restaurants worked so just leave it alone... wont be back ever.
We booked this hotel as Wellington itself was very busy due to a concert. The lady on the desk was pleasant enough however this did not make up for the horribly old and damaged decor. Carpets, paint and furniture we all old and damaged and there was an odd smell as soon as you walked through the main doors . I’m sorry to say I think for the $160 we spent on this room it was very poor quality and we were glad it was just a quick over night stop and we could not get out of there fast enough in the morning.
An absolute rip off. $145 for a basic room. Needed to do some work on computer and as the room had no wifi, I had to go and spread all of my work down in the lobby! Extremely disappointing. The only thing in its favour is it’s location if you don’t mind noisy traffic while you’re trying to sleep! Ugh.....don’t stay here if you can help it!!
Absolutely crap. Very poor customer service. $100.00 bond for the key. No sky tv Very basic Very disappointing. Doesn’t look like they have done anything to the property for years. To scared to try the restaurant after the reception I got when I checked in
