we had one night in this hotel it was okay. all the staff was really helpful and passionate. we were reccomended by our driver who drove us to Danakil depression. we also had our dinner their meal is quite okay!

They say they take credit cards but in practice they don't. Either the system is unreliable, or they don't want to absorb the bank service charge. This is common in many places, rendering credit cards useless. At Axum... More
They say they take credit cards but in practice they don't. Either the system is unreliable, or they don't want to absorb the bank service charge. This is common in many places, rendering credit cards useless. At Axum Mek'elle, at least 3 ATMs are by the hotel entrance. Cash (ETB) is king.
