Beautiful location and only an hour from Dublin makes this soooo perfect: and we couldn't have felt more welcome. This Guesthouse is absolutely charming, rather like a very superior ski chalet, very cosy and spotlessly clean. Crackling log fire every night, magnificent views, tons of maps and walking equipment was helpfully supplied. . . Food is superb and beds luxurious....

Not recommended We were booked in here for one overnight in July. We had retired to bed when at about 11.30pm we felt insects on our arms and looked up to see that a swarm of midges had infested the room and were crawling over the bedclothes, walls and ceiling. We tried telephoning the proprietor who was off-site to no...

I stayed 4 nights and 3 days with Sean and Theresa and loved every minute. They are great hosts. The location is quiet and beautiful, the food is first rate, the service impeccable. They suggested just the right walks for me and picked me up at the end of the day. Transportation to and from Dublin was much appreciated. And...

We took a group of 13 Canadians to Lough Dan House in May of this year for a guided hiking tour of the Wicklow Hills. It far exceeded our expectations. Accommodation was very comfortable and clean. The food was excellent - breakfast, packed lunch and dinner each day. Dinner was 3 courses and restaurant quality. Sean put together some very...

Our stay at the Lough Dan House was first-rate. The owners are great people, warm and engaging. They helped us with transportation from our flying in at Dublin airport, helped us navigate around the area, etc. The food was just outstanding at the Lough Dan house, and the evening around the fireplace with an Irish coffee is one of my...

Nestled in the Wicklow Mountains, the Lough Dan House is the perfect home base for hiking, relaxing or exploring the historical treasures of this area. Upon our arrival, we were pleasantly greeted by Sean and Teresa. We found the surroundings to be peaceful and beautiful, complete with a double rainbow complements of Mother Nature. The interior of the entire home...

We (surprisingly!) found this B&B all on our own. I was a little worried about finding it because it is out in the hills- not near the village at all. But there are sign posts every now and then so you can find it from Roundwood center. We were warmly welcomed, and felt quite at home there (even though we...

Sean was friendly and interesting, and most willing to collect and drop off from the pub! Wonderful spot, as were all the accommodations we stayed in over our 6 day Wicklow Way hike. Comfortable room with added bonus of a lovely hot bath. Nice and warm, with an area to sit downstairs as well if you don't want to hide...

We stayed at Lough Dan House for one night whilst walking "The Wicklow Way". It was a bit of a walk and up a hill from the end of the track but there is an option to get picked up which we chose to decline as we were enjoying the walk so much. Theresa and Sean were great hosts. We...
