As per the title the owner was particularly rude and self-righteous when we had to abandon our camping plan due to a death in the family. He blatantly did not believe my reason for leaving and when I asked for a refund he turned surly...More
We turned up on spec as I needed to find somewhere to camp for 4 days. I read some of the poor reviews and have to say I have nothing but praise for the owners and the site. They were more than helpful and definitely...More
Stayed at Roundwood with you family for weekend in July. Site is clean and owners are friendly and welcoming. Great facility for preparing food and eating at benches inside with tv/games room that has local area info posted all around providing place to meet and...More

When we booked I sent an e-mail which I got back like your self booking confirmed.. so we journeyed up and booked in without out any problem..you assume when you took the time out to book in advance that you would be accommodated, which would also be disappointing when arrived that's there was No space.. has not ever happened to us as yet but it's an eye opener now..just to let you know as well we have just returned from Eagle point caravan park down in west cork.. it's amazing place and so clean if ever you get the chance .. regards Trevor
Yes, the park is very suitable for children. We have a playgroung on site and there is a beautiful "Slí na Sláinte" lake walk beside the park. Clara Lara Childrens Funpark is a 15minute drive from the park.
