Stayed for 2 nights. Lovely warm welcome on arrival - shown to our room which was very nice and spacious overlooking the garden. We went to the bar had lunch and a few drinks. Had dinner that evening in the restaurant - absolutely gorgeous food and staff were excellent. Breakfast the next morning was excellent too - ordered from the...

Very impressive country house hotel. Warm welcome and upgrade to suite for our stay. Old school room which was very comfortable but needs a little re fresh. Beautiful grounds with lots of walks in grounds and duncannon area. Dinner was excellent with some minor issues. Top class staff in a very nice dining room. Starters were very tasty and mains...

We recently stayed for the dinner-breakfast package. We found the accommodation spacious, comfortable and clean. however, the property would benefit with a littleTLC, such as cleaning or replacing room carpet. There's is a comfortable lounge inside the main house and a relaxed pub-like setup in separate building. The grounds are expansive and some areas manicured while others a bit unkept...

We arrived in time for Sunday lunch having booked ahead. The restaurant was very quiet but soon filled up - not extensively but a nice select number. The food was delicious but no Baratta cheese on the tomato salad and no raspberries on the strawberry parfait or meringues on the pana cotta. For a restaurant of their reputation not impressive...

Popped in for quick lunch/snack. Ordered 2 open sandwiches and 2 bowls of soup. This was all they had on offer. Cost €40! Wouldn't have ordered if we had known price. You could get close to a €10 bowl of soup in somewhere like Claridges in the heart of London - not remote part of Wexford on a rainy day....

Friendly staff, beautiful old structure with comfy rooms, great spa and terrific restaurant. Not cheap, but well worth it. Like stepping back in time to the early 20th century. The grounds are well tended and beautiful. Also - well situated for trips to Hook Peninsula and Waterford (easy ferry - not even ten minutes away).

We visited the Dunbrody House looking for a late lunch whilst driving around the Hook Peninsula. We have been in the area before and were aware of the Dunbrody House but hadn't eaten there. We intended to go to the Local Pub but it was closed. As it was getting late, around 3.30, we inquired at the Hotel to see...

We were on our journey home to Waterford via the passage east car ferry. Decided to stop here in the local pub part of the hotel. It was really good, tasty pizza, really nice fish & chips. Simply done, good value. I'd recommend it highly. The atmosphere is relaxed and the service is really good.
