I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The B&B is quaint, attractive, and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. The proprietor was helpful and friendly. She gave good suggestions as to food and activities. Our room was comfortable and inviting. The only negative was the unreliable wifi connection. With international cellular data rates pricey, this was a concern. But perhaps to stay at Marshmere...

My partner and I stayed in this lovely house in February 2017. We received a very warm welcome from the moment we arrived. The bedroom was perfect, as was the living room across the corridor. Since it was a quiet Monday evening in February, we had this room, with its cosy fire to ourselves for the evening. We were well...

My husband & I stayed in this beautiful house for one night while attending a Woodworking course in the nearby Bevel School of Woodworking in Fethard on Sea. On arrival Claire greeted us like old friends - such a warm welcome followed by tea/coffee & cake in the most beautiful parlour, complete with blazing open fire, grand piano, tv, stereo...

We stayed at Marshmere Lodge for a birthday weekend. The location was second to none, our room was spacious quaint. The bed was very comfortable, linen top quality. I would have liked a TV in our room, although we were next to the fabulous guest sitting/tv room. I also missed not being able to make myself a cup of tea...

Thankyou Claire for a wonderful stay! Cannot recommend this b&b highly enough. Just pleased we stayed at the end of our journey as we would have been disappointed in the other b&b's we stayed in if it had been our first stop. The location is superb overlooking the bay and you just want to sit and watch the world go...

We stayed two nights here at this beautiful bed and breakfast in Arthurstown. Stunning views across the bay and a lovely patio area. Claire made us feel very welcome with advice about where to visit and eat. Full of antique charm it has the wow factor!

Marsh Mere Lodge is beatifully situated with a stunning view of the sea and the Hook peninsula. The rooms are furnished with antiques and the guests have the use of a large and beautifully decorated sittingroom. Breakfast is served in a room overlooking the sea and there's a veranda. The proprietor is very friendly and helpful.

Stayed here again with my wife this year recently ,the place and the people who own and run it continue to excel . The house generally and bedrooms particularly are appointed to a high standard and the beds are exceptionally comfortable . The breakfasts are healthy and robust ,set you up for the day

Myself my husband and our friends were completing a tour of Ireland and spent our first night there. The setting was brilliant, we had a beautiful room with a balcony looking out at the sea. We also had the fortune of the most beautiful weather. The landlady Claire was brilliant she couldn't do enough for us. We enjoyed our stay...

I stayed one night in this wonderful B&B. I had the bedroom upstairs which features in the photo. Very tastefully decorated with antiques but spotlessly clean with crispy sheets and a amazing bed, cool bathroom, if you want modern, you're in the wrong place. Claire was very friendly, Lovely breakfast, with eggs coming from the hens only 20 yards away, I...
