We stayed here for 2 nights during Easter week as a family break to visit Tayto Park & Kildare Outlet Village and couldn't fault the hotel. The décor in all public areas was very tastefully done and very relaxing just to sit and have a drink. The rooms were old but beautifully decorated, we had requested adjoining rooms and were...

Do not book special offers/ pigsback voucher if pregnant! Bad experience unfortunately. I called before purchasing the voucher to ask about the offer during pregnancy and was told there would be no problem and the package would be altered to suit. I also informed them when making the booking and again the week before treatment to ensure there would be...

Stayed at the Johnstown hotel with my sister and daughter for a nice relaxing break away. I had been here before with my husband and saw a great deal of improvement in the appearance of the hotel. A little disappointed as the rooms haven't changed. We decided to go to the bar for dinner as the restaurant was closed (which...

Made what has now become our annual Good Friday Spa relaxation trip to the Johnstown Estate today. I had booked in for a much needed back massage and facial and after my last trip I actually took down the name of the therapist to make sure I requested her again. Kasia is quite simply the best therapist I have ever...

We came to this hotel for a three night stay. When we arrived we had the "afternoon tea", it was just ok, but wouldn't have it again. There was no earl grey tea available, which my husband enjoys, so that didn't help. The pool area was just ok, perhaps a bit small when you take into consideration lanes closed for...

It was my first night away from my baby and I was really looking forward to a proper nights sleep and a spa treatment... When we arrived the receptionist whispered to us that we had been upgraded to a newly renovated room... I was delighted but unfortunately upon entering the room the strong smell of fresh paint sent my senses...

We called in to the bar for a break while driving west..a very nice girl behind the bar who said she would check with the chef if toast was available..The order was taken and a very nice pot of tea arrived. Some minutes later a dinner plate with 3 slices of toast cut in half arrived..no side plates supplied..My partner...

Decent place to meet for lunch/meeting. Food is pretty average but the staff are very accommodating. Nothing, it seems, is too much trouble. Nice atrium with comfortable surroundings. Central location just off motor way makes it a very convenient meeting point. Stayed here in and have a good recollection of the accommodation. Recent visit would encourage me to go back.
