"This is not a hotel but a self-catering castle. The major house has bed and breakfast rooms which are very comfortable"
"Views from the bedrooms are limited ( small castle windows) but the view from the roof is unbeatable!!"
"Rooms in the BnB, which is a beautiful mediaeval house beside the castle and which oozes the good taste and charm of the current chatelaine, Grace, are better suited for solo travellers. The castle itself is enormous and you could get lost if you stay in it alone!"
"If your tall ask for the eight footer poster bed!"
"Most of the rooms are huge and have REAL antique furniture - 4 poster bed, refectory tables etc."
