Stayed on an ensuite site for a week in the July school holidays. The park is laid out really well, resulting in spacious sites. The waterpark was fantastic. The slides are huge and super fast for adults and kids alike. Even the cold weather wasn't stopping anyone. Having a cafe/restaurant on site serving actual meals was an added bonus as we didn't have to cook or go out. Definitely recommend.

We selected Big4 Gold Coast Holiday Park, as it suited our needs, within walking distance to Movie World and Outback Spectacular plus no need to fuss and find a place to have breakfast, lunch or dinner at ‘Nibbles Café’ with poolside alfresco dining. We were only there for a two-night stay. At first glance, the place looks fun and amazing – like entering into a city of its own! Check in was fast and efficient and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. I was given an envelope with keycards inside, as well as pink wrist bands, to access activity sites etc, plus discounts if you dine at their café, an activity sheet of what’s happening for the week and a map to help you easily navigate your way around the park. On the outside of the envelope, it has your gate code to access the side gate when walking or the boom gate when driving – here’s a useful hint, take a photo of the code, therefore you have no need to carry that envelope with you, wherever you go – less bulk to carry. Also, don’t throw that envelope away, when you check out, place the keycards inside the envelope and hand it over to reception – where all your details are on the envelope for a quick checkout. We were located at the Cottage area – some construction work being done opposite to where we were staying, but not too much of a problem, just a bit noisy during work hours. Our cabin had an outdoor eating area, parking space right beside the cabin, the cabin was spacious, very clean, had all the necessities you needed (body wash / shampoo, coffee/tea condiments, air con and the necessary appliances) and should you run out of their complimentary condiments or forgotten to pack some items, you may find and buy the necessary items, at the reception. Our television, wasn’t working at all, so I just headed down to reception and let them know. We didn’t have to wait long for their maintenance man to come and repair the cables. I also noticed that I couldn’t get any free wi-fi, which I told the maintenance man, but he said that the connection is “iffy”, where we were located and left it at that. If I have to complain about something, it would be the non-existent free wi-fi. Accommodation wasn’t cheap and I was only too happy to pay the price, due to the location of the venues we wanted to visit within walking distance BUT at this day and age, we shouldn’t have problems with access to free wi-fi. On a positive note, safe and secure location, definitely a fun place for children, lots of free games and activities at their playground, other creative activities on offer, in their ‘Activity Centre’ for a small fee and they have a pool and waterpark for young and old to enjoy and it’s also dog friendly. The food at Nibbles Café was average but quite pricey, we didn’t have to wait long for our meals and convenient to have on location – I’m guessing that’s probably why it was expensive and of course to pay for their waitstaff wage? Overall, highly recommend Big4 Gold Coast Holiday Park, especially for young families wanting to be kept entertained, also for the convenience and the close proximity to the Gold Coast Theme Parks – perfectly designed for tourists and travelers.…

We were very excited with this holiday because of the website, slides and look of the pool. they looked so good we didnt mind being so far from the beach. We booked the cosy cabin we as we were 2 adults and 2 small and young kids. expected it to be small but, the photos on the website is a huge misrepresentation of the room. It was soo uncomfortable!!! especially for 6 days. We are little people but this bathroom was even to small for the kids. no room for your bags either, and the worst part was the bench seat in the kitchen, forget about sitting on that. i promise you this is not build to "bench seat code" your lucky if you bottom can fit on it. even the kids complained. no one could sit comfortably to watch tv. we felt like i was in a cell. this only worsened when 2 days in a row the pool had been pooped in. so we decided no more swimming, so now we were stuck in the cell! let me just add this type of holiday is very expensive.. i suggest booking a serviced apartment would be wayyy cheaper and thats what we will do next time. never again in a park just trying to steal every dollar out of every space they have. nothing to do with comfort here. When we complained about the room and cost for something not functional.. we had crickets and just " i will speak to the manager" that never got back to us. a refund for part of this stage should have been given 1000%…

We had a fabulous time at the Big 4 Gold Coast, the staff were amazing, the facilities top notch. We will be back again. The Water Park was great and close to the fun parks on the Gold Coast. All in all best time ever.

We have had a great stay so far despite some lousy weather. All of the staff have made us feel so very welcome; Tyrone in particular went out of his way to make our stay enjoyable! The waterpark is amazing and the kids are kept very busy with plenty to do!

We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 week stay at Gold Gold Holiday Park. Super friendly and helpful staff, kids absolutely loved the waterpark and pool area. Adults enjoyed the poolside cabanas complete with kiosk service. Clean amenities and heaps of activities for the kids. Central location to all the attractions. We will definitely be b k to stay again.

I stayed at the Tallebudgerra Creek Tourist Park in October 2023 for 5 nights not having stayed here before i booked myself in the Lodge accommodation which are 4 single rooms with shared shower & toilet and 2 family rooms , these were spotlessly clean and no complaints the biggest 2 gripes are the advertised shared kitchen facilities are no more then an outside covered barbacue area with a sink and microwave no stoves to do any cooking and the Lodge accommodation backs on to the Gold Coast Hi-way the traffic noise is horrendous from 5am thru to 11.00pm every night , Good luck trying to get a good nights sleep .This is an honest and unbiased review

Our week of Kombi camping here was brilliant! The kids loved the water park, jumping pillow and night time activities that were available. Yoga with Rhonda was a highlight for me. Close to plenty of great food options. Cooking and bathroom facilities on-site are quality and maintained very well. Highly recommend for an easy, unplug and recharge family holiday.

What a lovely find is the Strath Motel! Spacious, well- appointed room with every comfort - even down to a 'make-up remover' cloth, girls! Two generous lounge chairs, as well as table and chairs, and all you would hope to find in a motel.
