This B&B is located on a dirt road, 4 wheel drive not necessary, across from a beautiful beach. The couple who run the place have put their heart and soul into it. They do everything themselves because they want everything done to their standards. I travelled without a car and they arranged for a driver to pick me up at...

We have travelled more than 90 countries and have professional experience in hotel business. Nevertheless it is very rarely that we comment on hotels or places. But Casa Laguna is one of the most beautiful places we ever stayed. The location is just perfect if you are looking for quiet, silence and tranquility. An unbelievably lonely (and lonely really means...

We stayed at Casa Laguna for a couple of nights and we felt very welcomed from the first moment on. The room, toilet and shower are clean. There is a pool in the yard and a fridge where you can buy water and beers for a good price. You can walk to the beach, which is only a couple of...

Any room in the house is a good one. Clean, quiet and very comfortable. The grounds are well kept and lovely. We enjoyed spending time outdoors on the back patio, using the pool and felt right at home with the four resident cats, dog and the iguana family that lives in the tile roof of the pump house. Restaurants are...

I have absolutely nothing negative, and many positive things to say of this retreat. So let's start: Room (#3): large and spacious with an oversized generous bathroom. Absolutely no smell of mold, thank goodness. Beautifully decorated and with a nice view of the manicured grounds. Comfy chairs available outside room door Grounds: Wow. The gazebo, the very clean pool, flowers,...

While this might not be the easiest place to get to due to the rough road in, the delightful rooms and Maria and Michael, the wonderful hosts, make it worthwhile if staying in Las Lajas. The rooms are clean, comfortable and quiet and the grounds are beautifully landscaped. The hosts are from Italy and provide a gracious welcome and charming...

Four of us (2 couples) spent the weekend with Maria & Michele at the sweetest B&B. We were greeted with big smiles and lots of energy. Both of them speak Italian, Spanish and English (and perhaps others) The rooms were immaculate and spacious with beautiful Italian linens - which were ironed! Modern and immaculate comfortable private bathroom within the room....

Our family of 4 enjoyed our 4 night stay in rooms 1 & 3 at Casa Laguna. The property is very clean and well cared for and located a short distance from the largest, most sparsely populated beach we ever visited. We rarely saw another person on the beach until we walked about 15 minutes to where the restaurants are....

Maria and Michele have been great hosts, we decided to stay for 5 nights based on the good reviews and indeed we have had a wonderful time at Casa Laguna! There is just everything one needs for total relax: a nice veranda and tropical garden, healthy breakfast, small pool, hammocks, a private laguna and this all only 5 minutes walking...

Lovely Italian owner, however the room was a small doublel and the air conditioning was not effective in cooling the room. The worst thing was that the sheets on the bed seemed to be made of nylon and were pilled all over. Dinner was basic and expensive 10$ for a bowl of pasta ,with a little very average bolognese sauce....

We are so sorry that you felt "disappointed". This is our first bad review in 6 years and we were a little surprised. We are totally available to our guests to solve any problem that can be during the stay... But you don't ask anything when you were here. We have just cotton sheets, no nylon ever... A/C has different...
