agnes and john are great hosts...they let us feed the baby sheep, walk to the sea at sunset...there was tea and cake on arrival...comfortable sleeping arrangements...they invited you in and make you feel like family...and a last night irish coffee...conveniently located on the ring of kerry and not too far from the dingle peninsula...a great launching spot for your adventures!!

Everything was excellent! The bed was so cozy and warm-the breakfast was delicious-and Agnes and John were great! They thought of everything and made us feel right at home (but even better)! We definitely recommend staying at Taobh Coille!

Taobh Coille, Irish for 'woodside', is a working farm in Kells, Kerry that also operates as a cozy bed & breakfast with authentic Irish charm and fantastic views over Kells Bay. The ancestral home of my grandmother is currently in the O'Sullivan family, so I reached out to Agnes in hopes of gaining consent to visit the property. She invited...

Was one before at the same place, nothing has changed, simply because of the family running the B&B. Booking this time with 5 people including me, kids were attracted with the animals and the adults about the view and... and...

From the minute we stepped into her home, Agnes made us feel welcome. We only stayed at this beautiful home one night, but Agnes and her family made us feel so welcome. They are so friendly and truly good people. Their home is lovely and the view is breathtaking. Wish we could have stayed longer. If we ever visit Ireland...

This place is special to us. We loved the beauty and peacefulness of the location of the farm. It's pastures fill the space between a mountain and Dingle Bay. The owners are genuine lovely people. John O'Sullivan took time to show us the farm: the peat stacked up for winter use, the hen house (collecting eggs for our breakfast), his...

Perhaps the finest family in all of Ireland - Agnes, John and their daughter (who we met) make you feel like family the minute you show up at Taobh Coille. I found her Irish Soda Bread recipe on a blog in 2007 that was included in a moving story about her hospitality to the traveler writing the blog. I made...

It was a wonderful experience staying with Agnes and John. Even though we planned for just one night, we almost instantly made a decision to extend our stay after experiencing the truly caring and warm atmosphere of the house and seeing the beautiful sunset (extended viewing, first from the the sea shore, then from our room window). Centrally located on...

Agnes and her husband are two wonderfully welcoming people who will make sure you enjoy your stay in their beautiful guesthouse! The property has sweeping views across the bay with a path that takes you down to the rocks that overlook the water. My room was beautiful and the food was great. I would definitely stay here again.

Staying with Agnes was for sure the best stay we had on our 10-day trip round Ireland and we regret that we only stayed for one night. Agnes was such a great and adorable host - she made a four course meal for dinner on supershort notice for us possible that was so delicious and served in the wintergarden that...
