Cannot fault one thing about this hotel, the friendliest, most welcoming place I have stayed in. Pauline the owner is a gem, so helpful and attentive. All the staff are lovely. The food is delicious and very reasonably priced. The hotel is spotless throughout, the rooms are lovely and the view of the bay from the rooms at the front...

This hotel really has a fabulous location, which is why we chose it. Sadly there were some very drunk and noisy guests in the corridor that night, loud voices and banging doors, and it was not a pleasant experience - no sound proofing, they sounded as though they were going to walk through our bedroom door any moment! Such a...

Visiting a range of Co.Donegal properties driving round stunning, just stunning, scenery I rested my very weary head for a night at Carey's Viking House. As has been said in other reviews I defy another hotel to be situated with such wonderful views. A family-run hotel that is obviously cared for by all who works there. Friendly staff, cosy bar...

I booked a Saturday night away here in September with my partner. The location really is second to none. The drive through Donegal is superb and the scenery around Kincasslagh is beautiful with Cruit Island being an unexpected highlight. The hotel itself is small with around 12-15 rooms, a bar and a restaurant. Initially we were put in room 15...

We cannot speak highly enough about our wonderful wedding experience at the Viking Hotel. Pauline pulled out all the stops to make it a very special day. Nothing was too much trouble and every detail covered. She even entertained our dream of having an outdoor ceremony ( and that's taking a risk in Donegal!) and made plans for both indoor...

The journey over the hill and far away from our holiday cottage was worth the twisty road getting there. I believe the hotel used to be owned by Daniel O'Donnell but they were not playing his music! I had the chicken stuffed with smoked salmon and wrapped in bacon with garlic potatoes and fresh vegetables. My husband had roast turkey...

From the minute we arrived we loved our stay here. A lovely family run hotel, cosy, with lovely views to the strand. This was our honeymoon, we got married in Ireland and live in Australia now. Got married at home as gay marriage is legal here and not in Australia. I wanted a nice cosy hotel in a wonderful location...
