Stayed last month with my girlfriend for 2 nights. The hotel has a great view of the bay from the bedrooms and the beds were very comfy. The food was brilliant, some of the best seafood I’ve had and the staff are a credit to the place, a lot of the staff are young but all very switched on and very good at adhering to covid regulations so felt very safe. Was surprised to find out the bar has a cocktail menu and they were a great after dinner treat

We had a booking for dinner on a wet and windy night but so glad we we ventured out. A lovely warm welcome on arrival and we were shown quickly to our table in a lovely warm restaurant. Drinks were ordered and then we were left to view the extensive menu. What choices - so difficult to choose. The other half had the spicy chicken wings for a starter and they went down well as loads of spice on them which a lot of places leave out. I had a gratin dish which was full of seafood. I had the duck for a main course which was super and the other half had the lobster/seafood. Wow! What a plate of all sorts of seafood packed around the lobster. Even though we were full we managed to squeeze in a dessert. Cannot recommend here enough - we have already booked a stay for next year. I would suggest that you do book ahead as the restaurant was busy and it would be a disappointment not to get in

We visited Caislean Óir today and we both wish to compliment the restaurant and staff from the moment we entered until we left the building.Your staff were among the most efficient, professional, mannerly and obliging either of us ever encountered. Our food was to die for and was served very quickly and so beautifully presented and tasty(Compliments to chef). We gratefully thank you for our wonderful food and service, and would urge readers of this review to visit this magnificent restaurant if you wish to experience a delightful food and drink experience. We cannot wait for our next visit. The hotel was also recommended to us.It is high on our choice for our next visit.Thank you again Cáislean Óir.

Myself and a friend of mine visited on the purpose to taste the surf and turf, it was a day trip well worth it, being from Donegal ourselves we decided to make an evening of it by staying, We received a warm welcome,we booked dinner and it didn't disappoint, the SURF AND TURF is a seafood lover's dream, original presentation and taste in every bite, I plan myself to come back in December with my partner, this is definitely worth the trip,The owner James was more than helpful and very friendly. Thank you to all the crew here.
