Quality rooms & lovely views but located in the middle of nowhere. We went to Chalong to visit Big Buddah which is the only thing worth seeing in the area. Unfortunately despite being able to see the 45 meter tall statue the reception staff didn't understand what we said when we said 'Big Buddah' when looking for help with transport. Not close to any restaurants and Chalong is basically a Thai residential town with busy traffic.
Despite this our one night stay was made pleasant inside with private balcony, fridge with water supplied, en suite bathroom and AC. I did have to let the staff know our AC kept going off on arrival so we moved immediately and no further problems. Staff were helpful with this particular issue.
All in all, value for money but not really located for many people to experience it.
