The property is fantastic, but support staff is not so friendly. The service is also not up to the mark in restaurant. The place is far off from beaches, so one have to hire a taxi to go to most happening places in town.
The rooms are good, housekeeping nice, but the refill of tea sachets and coffee pouches in rooms are sometimes missing.
The washroom next to reception is in shambles, no soap in dispenser, foul smell etc. will welcome you, if you happen to relieve yourself at reception area.

Ok so staying at this resort was one of the strangest experiences. This might sound like a bad thing but for a young couple like us that's not necessarily true. We were expecting a hotel style service level but instead there was no service. We went in phuket peak time and expected the resort to be packed but we felt like the only people there. We had both of the stunning pool areas (5*!) to ourselves nearly every single time, day and night.

A good example of this lack of staff is at the pool. We enjoy drinking while we relax in the sun and were excited that both pools had bars. Not once did we have a chance to order a drink and both were completely deserted. We bought our own beer from the shop and were happy enough though.

The view was stunning and the location is perfect if you are looking for a getaway. You will need to rent a motorbike though to get anywhere. Taxis are ridiculously expensive to anywhere and rarely come past the hotel free.

We were in the jacuzzi suite but I think the place is better suited for the chalets as the decor in our room was a bit dated. Very few toiletries provided, had to buy conditioner, hand soap etc as only body wash and shampoo were provided. It was clean and huge and the sheets were changed every day so nothing wrong with that. Jacuzzi filled up very very slowly (hours) but once full it was a great addition.

The chalets were all hidden away amoungst beautiful lush tropical greenery. Didn't get to look inside one but their location was stunning.

I would recommend this place if you are easy going and like to be left alone. Maybe if there was service it would be 5* as the reception were very friendly and helpful but It's hard to rate when reception is the only service.

Just remember, this isn't a hotel, it's a stunning place to stay though!

My boyfriend and I were delighted with the beautiful chalets here and the incredible views. My only complaint was the grossly overpriced breakfast. It was 600 baht for the two of us, about $20 CDN and consisted of pineapple, watermelon, coffee and toast. Almost anywhere else in Thailand this would have been 100 baht tops. A little disappointing but an otherwise great stay.

Where do I start, I reached reception and nobody was around, I waited around 10 mins and a lady came over eventually, she checked me in and asked me to wait… a while later she got me to load my case onto the golf cart and off we went up the hill…

We got to my suite and oh my god this was no suite… she put the key card in and ran…. I asked her how do I go down and out she said you call down 0…. I sat down… it stunk… like a strong fungus damp smell… I looked at the curtains and they were full of fungus….

I stood in wonder… what do I do, I can’t sleep in that!! Tried to call down to be moved to a room which looked like the pics… no electric…. The hotel had lost all power… the whole area had… but now I have no ac, no way to leave… so I got my luggage and trailed down a steep hill to check out and get out….

She had no rooms to move me to… Expedia couldn’t even contact them so no idea why they listed them… sad… because as the pics show the place has potential… but the passion in the running of this place is not there… if you are not a long term stay they are not interested in you!!

There's mould in the room, the service was terrible when we arrived. They don't answer the phone as well when calling the front desk. There's mould in the bathroom too and as well as the walls and ceilings. The air con smells bad. The TV wasn't working and when they replaced it there was still bad reception. My partner and I have been in Phuket for 6 days prior and only just got bites on her leg after staying here the first night.

Accomodation in amazing also the staff are extremely friendly and go out of there way to help with anything. Can’t recommend this place enough. If you want to stay somewhere away from all the hustle and bustle then Chalong is perfect. The hotel is a very short tuk tuk to the local market and supermarket where you can get everything you need. The hotel also provides free shuttles every few hours and will wait for you to bring you back

At the reception it is written "eception"! Old Furnitures in rooms. Spa bath, rooms and bathrooms not clean..dust can be seen. Only the bed is well decorated. The restaurant is very far from your room and also cats can be seen walking around in the restaurant and kitchen. Food was okay but very limited foodz for guest who don't eat porks. The hotel got a superb view but it really needs renovation! Not a 4 star. Don't rely on the photos posted by the resort to book the hotel. Thanks.

I stayed here for 2 weeks while visiting phuket. It's in a fantastic location with a 5 minute drive to Kata beach. Offers ocean views with great living conditions. Ideal if you want to enjoy some luxury and a very reasonable price. This is a great place to stay if you want to be near a nice beach or if you want to be slightly off the commercial hot spots. Situated on the hill under Big Buddah it's a fantastic resort for couples or
Families.
If you want please and quiet, this is the ideal place to unwind and enjoy your holiday.
Will go back when I stay in Phuket again

My husband and I have just returned from our three week stay in this hotel. We chose it because of the separate villas and the reasonable price for the stay over the new year. But now I can say that we would like to return again. The villas are very spacious - there is a living room with a small kitchen ( including a fridge, microwave and tea/coffee facilities), bedroom with air conditioning, satellite tv, two bathrooms - one with cold water only and one en-suite with both hot and cold water located outside. There are a shower and a bath there. Towels are changed every day, everything is very clean, housekeeping works well. The wardrobe is not very convenient as there are not enough shelves but it's manageable. A safe is available in the bedroom. There is also a balcony with a table and chairs - really nice to sit at in the evenings.
The gardens are beautiful, very well kept, everything is so green. And the pool is also very good and has a nice view. Pool towels are available.
It is possible to book a massage at the pool via the reception - the price is the same as in the massage salons but I think the quality is higher and, of course, it is more convenient.
The staff are friendly, English is not too good but understandable, everyone is very helpful. We have asked for an iron but they didn't have one. So they went to a shop and bought a tefal steam station just for us. That was very nice of them.
The breakfasts are bad. We only went two times in three weeks. It is easier to go and grab something in one of the cafes around the beach.
It takes about 15 min by motorbike to get to kata beach. Without a bike or a car it is impossible. By the way, there is a big car park next to the hotel or you can park your bike next to your villa.
Overall, we would recommend this hotel for couples and families who have already been to Thailand as the location is a bit remote.

This was my worst stay ever in Thailand. The staff is hopeless. I haven't got any smile from them during my entire stay. Check in: quite quick. We were drove to our chalet in the small resort car...but nobody dared to put our luggage in it so we had to carry them. The chalet itself is quite nice, but looks empty. There is only one TV in the bedroom, nothing in the living room (the sofa is facing a white wall...). No DVD player. Wifi is chargeable per hour. Coming from Singapore, I needed an adapter for my laptop battery. Hotel wasn't able to provide any. We had to buy one in the shopping mall nearby. As all the other hotels, there is instant coffee and two tea bags available. We drank the tea, and the next day they didn't refill it. When we asked, a girl came to bring them, looking very upset and unfriendly. Room service: Food quality is quite good. Once finished, we called the staff so they can bring the dishes back to the kitchen. Our dirty dishes stayed in front of our door all night, nobody came! And oh, yes, if you order room service, be aware that hotel only has two copies of the menu, so you need to call the staff to get the menu, and then decide what you want to eat quite quickly because someone stands besides you until you make the order, and bring back the menu. Breakfast: What a disappointment! When we arrived for breakfast everything was dirty, tasteless. We wanted Ice Mocha and ice cappuccino and they charged for that! Check out was a disaster: We had again to carry our own luggage to the front desk. Before that, in front of us, someone entered the Chalet and counted the towels, etc... to check if we didn't steal anything. We had asked for a late check out. This was ok (since the hotel was almost empty -now I understand why -) for 1.000 THB. I was asked to pay it cash! When I insisted to charge it to my credit card, the girl looked again very upset. The whole staff should at least trained, or better replaced.
