My partner and I have stayed in Walton twice; once last year and again this year. Both times have been nothing short of excellent. We found the hosts to be very welcoming and attentive to all our needs. We particularly enjoyed our stay in the French Cottage. The courtyard cafe is very picturesque and serves lovely food. The homemade cakes...

We stayed for a week and I must say it was such a fantastic experience. The cottages are beautiful and uniquely decorated, they are also extremely comfortable. It is very close to Kinsale, a lovely seaside village but you also have a beach on your doorstep and lovely walks along the sea. The hosts, Janice and Paul are such warm...

Walton Court is such a wonderful haven of tranquility and I love coming to stay here. I am a returning guest and have enjoyed the hospitality there for many years. Janice and Paul are great and I always feel so relaxed while in Oysterhaven with them. The accommodation is fantastic and I especially love the eclectic mix of artwork on...

We spent 2 weeks in Walton Court in the summer of 2015. Two kids and two adults. Our appartment had many flaws, the dishwasher did not work during the two weeks (we complained about it but nothing was done), the cutlery and cookware were old and sometimes dysfunctional or simply out of order, the balcony was a bit rotten, no...

Dear "Vandvaar" thank you for sharing your feedback. It is unfortunate and a little surprising that this is posted a year after your stay with us, but we will do our best at this late stage to respond in a positive way. Firstly you mention a broken dishwasher. Having checked our records for last summer we see that a dishwasher...

We stayed in one of the cottages for over three weeks. Visiting from the US, this was our second stay at Walton Court and we were delighted that it has retained its very good standards. The location is perfect for a family holiday, we had twin three year olds with us. Outings to the nearby beach, two minute walk, and...

Lovely place.. Cannot recommend it more for a lunch... Whether it be in the cosy Parisian inspired indoors with lovelyvlog stove or the pretty terrace. Really fabulous lunch... We had the charcuterie board to share.. More than enough for two, great produce and homemade bread and chutney. Delightful homemade cake to follow. Lovely attentive owners. I cannot believe this is...

We just called in to the Walton Cafe as a little treat and what a treat it was, right on the shores of Oysterhaven and with beautiful gardens it is the perfect setting for a summers afternoon. We only stopped for refreshments as we'd already had lunch but the next time I'm in Ireland I'll be calling in for lunch.

“There are a variety of rooms to suit every need. Just do not expect the Holiday Inn. this is a hotel of character and each room has its own. Staying in the main house may be the best experience.”

“Smaller cottages are in the courtyard next to the house and are built in a rustic style. Larger, more modern properties are in an adjacent courtyard behind and have their own gated car park.”
