The abbey is stunning and situated in beautiful grounds. Stayed in the Coco Channel room and then de l'Labbe 1. Both are lovely rooms with very comfortable beds. Beatrice the owner/host along with her husband made us feel very welcomed. Would throughly recommend if your staying in Vermenton area.

When booking a room in a historic place, I look for authenticity that doesn't compromise comfort or cleanliness, an atmosphere that lends itself to conversation, and an overall experience that has a sense of place. The Abbaye de Reigny delivers on all those counts. Awarded for their restoration efforts by the French Historical Society, the hosts have turned the abbey...

We were looking for accommodation whilst visiting a friend in Vermenton. The Abbaye was booked on line but we soon realised that we were going someone special! Beatrice and her family not only provided us with wonderful accommodation but they also organised some fabulous weather! A massive room with double aspect windows, a wonderful large comfortable bed and a delicious...

The Abbaye is an interesting and beautiful place. The couple running it were perfect hosts and we felt very welcomed and at home. The room was huge and wonderfully decorated. The breakfast was fabulous and the dinner was excellent and extremely good value for money. I plan to return and would reccomend it to anyone planning a visit to this...

Exceptional stay at the Abbaye, the tour, the room, breakfast but above all, Beatrice is simply lovely and her husband too. They made us an early morning breakfast so we could make it to airport in time for international flight with homemade jam and yogurt, honey from their bees, croissants, and plums from their trees. We loved the grounds, and...

Delightful family that opens up a few rooms in their historical country home. A lovely breakfast with the few other guests and the chance to sit on the patio and watch the chickens. The hostess (who speaks English very well) took us on a tour of the property including the dovecote which is currently being restored. If you have a...

We had the pleasure of staying here for 1 night en route from Annecy to Tours . The room was excellent value for money and the hosts were very gracious. We were unable to arrange dinner at short notice so we visited the town 2 kms away and bought wine, baguette, ham, figs which we ate and drank on the...

Charming hosts, so helpful and pleasant. Breakfast included in our room rate - excellent (eggs, fruit, homemade yoghurt, breads, jams etc) Beautiful 12th century Abbey. Our wonderful room looked over the grounds of the Abbey and beyond. Great bedding - great pillows!! (Often hard to find in a lot of accommodation). Great central location for visiting outlying areas. Quiet/peaceful. Parking...

Last year in September we toured the Bourgogne region for a few days. We were lucky to get tickets for one of those amazing concerts at Vézelay (don't miss it). And it turned out that we were also lucky to find that Vézelay was completely booked on that night. That's why we checked into the nearby Abbaye de Reigny. We...

We stayed at Abbeye de Reigny for one night. The lady of the house is a wonderful host : you feel welcome at the first moment. We could choose our room, and made the right choice by sleeping in the "Coco Chanel Suite", named after this lady who used to sleep in that corner room. The view over the garden...

“We had a room above the entry with a east facing aspect and the morning sunrise was great. Wifi from our room was excellent despite being stated that it was available in the common area . Get a tour of the abbey if the hosts can fit it in.”

“Some bath rooms are 1920s style with a bath tub only. If you don't want to miss a shower in its own right - ask for one of those rooms.”
