This was a stop-over at the beginning of our trip as we planned to drive down to southern tip of Nicoya. It's was a beautiful little retreat off the beaten track. Just what we needed after our flight and our drive to get out of San Jose and a little closer to our starting off point. We had a great...

What a great welcome after a long trip. We spent only one night there and wanted to stay more. Miriam and Didier are the most welcoming hosts. The accommodation is lovely and the surroundings delightful. We all agreed that the breakfast was the best we had experienced 😊

We stayed at Tiriguro Lodge over New Year's two years ago, just now getting around to a writing a review. Let me start by saying that Tiriguro Lodge is amazing. Beautiful setting, private rooms in separate cabins, great little swimming pool, but the hosts are terrific. I was amazed at the huge bunch of bananas hanging on the patio. Not...

We spent two weeks at Titriguro Lodge in Ventanas Near San Mateo, Costa Rica. The grounds is planted with a variety of Native plants That the owner Didier will explain about each one if you take a stroll with him. The pool is cool and prestine, perfect for that afternoon dip to cool off. In the small town of San...

Didier and Mirium were not only friendly and welcoming but there whenever you needed them but gave us space and privacy at the right times! The lodge setting was amazing high up with view across the foliage to the Pacific in the distance so whilst eating breakfast on the terrace and outside our room on our balcony we had the...

This was the best place we stayed at in Costa Rica! The location was stunning and within 1 hour of San Jose airport. Our detached cabin was immaculate and super clean, set amongst the trees. The veranda was perfect for sitting and relaxing. We didn't use the pool but it looked lovely. The room was beautifully furnished - very stylish...

It was a pleasure staying with Didier and Miriam. They were very friendly and we enjoyed their company and conversations. Breakfast was delicious with local fruit and home made bread. I would love to stay with them again 🙂

Our sons 10 and 12 loved the room, the premises and the breakfast. Especially the hot cocoa. Such a neat place - we totally felt at home and spoiled. We hope to be back one day. Thank you for all the good advice!

This is a wonderful B&B with emmaculate grounds and perfect cabins. It is located just on the outskirts of San Mateo up in the mountains. It's a perfect location with wonderful views, especially around the pool and from the main house breakfast area. Didier and his family are gracious hosts and as friendly as you can find in CR. We...
