Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Packed the caravan for a couple of nights away at the Peppermint Grove Beach Holiday Park to enjoy the festivities.
Rocked through the scrub from the highway, which than you come to the park of lush green pastures. Great space to set up the van , kids play equipment to keep them occupied and best of all a bottlO at reception, which was very well priced.
Facilities were clean but need an upgrade and apart from the pesky mozzies flying around eating you alive ,if you didn’t bath in mozzie repellent , it would have rated higher. They fumigated one morning but probably need to address it further. Good location, only a 5 min walk to the main beach .

The whole family enjoyed our stay. The kids aged 8 to 11 enjoyed the park. They were on the swings and riding their bikes. The beach is just t00m walk and it was a fantastic beach for children. A jetty to swim swim to and jump off. We saw dolphins everyday. I esp loved how green the park was and the large gumtrees add to the atmosphere and provided much needed shade. Friday night pizza night was delicious. The smell of the onsite wood fired pizza oven made my mouth water. My partner and I enjoyed playing tennis. The condition of the court was not Aus Open standard but close enough. Location was great. Not too far from Perth and MargRiver. lots of things close by to do. Its On our list of parks to revisit. Very friendly staff amd owners. 😊

Big shady trees, loads of grass, mini golf, tennis court, wood Fire pizza and a short walk to the beach.
Stayed here for the long weekend, park was booked out, we booked several single rooms in the new studio rooms at the rear of the park. Very clean, fridge, air conditioning, tv with your own bathroom. Only hiccup was kids being silly knocking on studio doors, but if that’s the worse life is pretty good. I’ll definitely be staying here in the future. Lovely fully kitted our shop and liquor store on site. Amazing staff, Thankyou.

Stayed for one night (saturday) peak time. The accommodation was a tiny room approx 3.5 x 4.5m with a bathroom, bunk beds. The cost was $160, and no wifi ! The room is really a donga a type of accommodation they use on the mines in Australia. Communal kitchen was good. Check in is 2pm, no earlier even if the room was ready. The park has the monopoly in town of a store, bottle shop and food take out. On the board it just had the special for Friday and Saturday night, only available for maybe 2 or 3 hours. Coffee is only available in the morning too. Bring all your food to save cash.

All the amenities and the park is great, just had an issue with the owners who don’t respect young people at all. Regrettably we made some noise late at night, got a complaint from someone, apologised, then went straight to bed not to bother anyone anymore. Owner was literally banging on our tent and yelling early in the morning in retaliation. Also used the phone number we gave them for the fire pit (must fill out a form in case something happens) to contact us after our stay to ask us to take down the bad review. Very unprofessional. The location and amenities however were great. It just feels a bit money grabbing, especially as fire pits are an extra charge. If you’re anywhere between the age of 18-23 I especially don’t recommend it as they will ridicule you like they did to us and never took a word we said seriously. The owner (Darren, I believe) was very passive aggressive, making comments every time he saw myself and friends while riding on his push bike patrolling the park 24/7 and continuously barging onto our campsite making remarks about us and what we were doing. Please, I urge you to read the other bad reviews and take it on board before you camp here or, preferably for your sake, don’t camp here at all.

Recently stayed at pepper mint grove caravan park for a weekend nice little park reasonable amenities. But oh wow when u arrive u get abused by a lady who claims to be the owner about everything you’ve done wrong here to early will have to pay for a 3rd night even tho staying for 2 must buy wood from them for fire even tho had advised purchased wood before we got there then pay a bond and the rules went on and on and on.
Good place to stay if u like being barked at by very grumpy owner even staff that work there are embarrassed by here aggressive manner but not a bad place if u dodge the dragon on the way in

We stayed for a couple of nights over the weekend and cant fault this holiday park.Huge campsites with plenty of shade very well maintained.
Toilet and shower blocks also very clean with plenty of water pressure and hot water.
Clean and tidy camp kitchen area, tennis courts, mini golf and kids playground, something for everyone.
Absolute cracker of a location close to the beach, capel vale winery and a short drive to capel town center.
Handy having a little general store and bottleshop on site.
All staff are very friendly and happy to help .
One of the best holiday parks weve stayed in, will definately be back
Well done guys👍

Our second visit and still class it as a great mini getaway destination - a hidden gem. Green & shady caravan sites; exceptionally clean ablution amenities; walking distance to a crystal clear beach with clean white squeaky sand; friendly, obliging staff (Grace, Raelene & Michael). Friday night pizzas are a hit with travellers and locals, with the grassed area buzzing with chat, laughter and squeals from happy kids. We have booked 2 more getaways for the coming year and know we won’t be disappointed.

This place is situated a short walk from the beach. There is a bar/restaurant there but sadly only open on Friday and Saturday. Nice facilities but it's a bit overpriced at $50 a night for a powered site - would have expected more for the price.

What a lovely park to stay in, so green and clean and lots of shady trees to relax under.
Couldn’t compliment management further, friendly and professional at all times. We had a rough group next to us who didn’t respect the 10 pm curfew, it’s a park for all and quiet time is for everyone. Management were onto it, in a super professional manner and handled the night beautifully.
thank you so much Darren and Amelia, you run a great park for everyone to enjoy! You must go here as a family 😊

I think it would be about 500m to the beach. There is a safe walking/bike path directly to the beach where there is a new playground. The weekend we were there the beach was beautiful and calm. Depending on the weather I would say that the beach is quite safe for children. It is not a surf beach. Cheers Anne
