They try and cram as many people in as possible resulting in long queueing. They should leave at least 10 minutes per group of four balls instead it's less than three minutes and they have groups of five balls!! Even with the new nine holes opened up it made no difference. This new course is not pretty more like an...

This golf course is played over three nine hole golf courses. We played A and B. On A course all holes were the original course and B course was a Covington if old and new. All was going reasonably well until we reached hole 6 on B course. We then queued for every shot. Four holes took 1 1/2 hours...

The breakfast here is horrible. Right from fruits to breads everything here was covered with flies. The staff was busy talking to each other and when I brought this to their attention they appeared concerned but weren't thoughtful enough to be able to take any action. Literally everything looked inedible. I had to ask them to cut fruits for me...

We had 2 flights in the morning and the course was challenging with the newly added Course C- giving the resort a total of 27 holes. The Course C and Course A layouts were well designed, with fast and difficult greens, unforgiving rough, with sufficient sand and water traps. The clubhouse was impressive with good amenities and very comfortable changing...

Alpine is probably the best golf course in the Chiangmai area. Set in a valley at the Chiangmai - Lamphun border area it's a beautiful, PGA tour level course. Off the blue or black tees it's very long (it includes a 615 yd+ par 5 which is not that challenging, just brute force). I played on foot with a friend...

Probably one of the best golf courses we have ever paid. Condition of the green and fairways is fantastic. Caddies are extremely helpful and professional. Challenging course if start from back tee with one par 5 over 500 yards. Food quality in the restaurant is above average too

During our golf trip to ChiangMai, we were advised by other fellow golfers we met that the Alpine course is not good and poorly maintained. It is far from the truth. It is a very nice course and located in a very scenic setting. Granted that the rough has challenging wiry grass (which itself is also a good challenge) the...

Second visit to Alpine Golf Resort, although the first time using it as a resort and staying on-course. Exactly a year earlier, my wife and I played this course, a month after it hosted the 2014 Chiang Mai Golf Classic. So the course condition and set-up then was exceptional. This year, apparently there had been no pro tournament in the...

Recently played Golf hear with my girlfriend, course layout is good but the 1st cut of rough is a penalty for running off the fairway, fluffy grass balls sometimes sits up 30/40mm other times struggle to fine it 1meter off the fairway, found caddy average couldn't read greens, no carts on fairways so if on other side from cart path,...

“Ask for a front room on the at least the 4th floor overlooking the golf course. Also let them choose the meals in the restaurant, you will be surprised how great they are.”
