This was our second visit to Church Farm as we are currently hoping to move to the area in the not too distant future. As with the first visit, we found this location perfect for us. Very warm welcome from Ann and John and their gaggle of geese with excellent hospitality including a.comfortable room and adjoining lounge with log fire...

The area is very pretty. We stayed in the lodge , which is a good size, clean and comfortable. The breakfast is delicious with local bacon and sausage. The owners made us felt very welcome and made our stay a lovely experience.

Very homely bed and breakfast Fantastic position made even more picturesque by the geese who happily walk around the farm! Slept really well in this peaceful location and each day commenced with a fantastic freshly cooked breakfast

HOSPITALITY(5/5) This review is long overdue. Nevertheless, lets get going. You definitely get fantastic quality for the price. I stayed here for a week on a business trip. I ended up booking here as my usual place was booked out. I was very pleased when I stayed here. Anne the host, provided remarkable hospitality and privacy. The area is relatively...

Wonderful weekend at this ever so friendly B&B that was happy to accommodate a single night stay. The proprietor couldn't have been more helpful and even sorted us out a table at the local Chequers Inn Pub by using her local influence; very handy and only a 10 minute stroll down the lane. We stayed in the downstairs double which...

This was without doubt one of our very best B and B experiences. Difficult to imagine a more idyllic setting. We stayed in the "lodge" a few metres away from the beautiful old farmhouse, where it was also possible to stay. The "lodge" lacked for nothing whatsoever and we enjoyed every possible comfort, and were afforded the kindest and most...

A fantastic find - lovely breakfasts, beautiful setting, most accommodating hosts. We enjoyed the frosted views and the peaceful surroundings. Everything was immaculately clean, everything works, and the geese were a source of real entertainment. We hope to return.

We have stayed there for 3 years running and still marvel at the idyllic setting, the friendly service (nothing is too much trouble), the sumptious breakfasts' and all at such a reasonable price - and not forgetting dogs are so welcome. Ten out of ten!

I stayed here with a friend and we loved it. Beautifully furnished rooms, tranquil setting - view from my bedroom was of trees, a pond with ducks and geese, and a church beyond. Really friendly couple, lovely breakfasts. Can't fault it!
