Open the door of your room and you have a magnificent view of the mountains. This resort is diagonally opposite to the famous Old England Resort, however both are quite a distance from the Cingjing Farm and Greengreen Grassland. Fret not, there is a public bus that brings you there, and the hotel staff could advise on the bus timings. You have to visit the viewing platform at the top floor for the great view too. Room is cosy and clean. There is a heater if you are visiting in winter. Toiletries provided are all organic. The restaurant downstairs serves great food. Strongly recommend the muachi (no.28 in photo), noodle with wine and sesame oil, and sweet sour chicken (no.15 in photo).

The room was fair. What stood out were 2 king size beds which could easily fit 6 people. Typical log cabin feel. Bathroom and shower stall in one area. Not good when the toilet seats get wet. Another down side was the fact that there was no elevator. There are 3 floors. Be prepared to walk a flight of stairs at 45 degrees angle. Breakfast was plain local dishes. Nothing stood out. Nothing close set by except a roof top garden and fantastic scenic views of the mountain!

We stayed one night at the Sakura room for 4 persons in Dragon Manor Resort on our way to Hehuan Mountain. This resort, just like most of other B&B, seems to be owned and managed by family members. We were told by a friend that the resort was renovated recently. The room size is big and clean. The king size bedding is very comfortable. The bathroom is a little bit inconvenient to use because shower and toilet are together and the floor becomes all wet after taking shower.
We sat and relaxed on the chairs in the balcony to enjoy the supplemental afternoon tea. There is also short trail and some facilities in the resort.
The breakfast is average but the coffee is no good.

If you are looking for a clean and peaceful place, I would suggest this manor. The manor is decorated with Japanese art and tea ceremony equipment. The interior is much like a traditional homestay in Japan except for certain hints of Chinese figurines. The rooms are of satisfactory level and the second level, there is a balcony that looks out to the mountains. Come during summer would be good as you will be able to view sunrise compared to Dec period.Though, the space within might seem a little small/ compact for 2.

This hotel environment is good and we stayed in family room. But the lobby to the hotel room is not convenient if you are carry a heavy luggage or elder people because from 1 floor to another floor is high,
The check in counter was at 1st floor, our room was at 2nd floor but my need to drove his car to 3rd floor (small car park area) to lets us bring down all luggage and go down to 2nd floor room...imagine if you have carry few luggage it's quite hard to carry down or up on the many steps staircase the to your room. And the breakfast need improve..
Others than this, I'm satisfy with the room, the room temperature is good as outside is very good.

The room is clean and of reasonable size. Hot water is strong consider this is at the mountain . The reception lady is super nice allowing us to have 3 rooms together at a last minute arrangement . We slept for a night there. This hotel is opposite the English cottage .

This Japanese style resort has a unique setting. Though it is along the main road leading toward the famous hilly Cing Jing Vegetable Farm, offers good view of the hilly area. The roof top garden is a must for residential guests to gather together in the evening. The atmosphere is just great.

The resort environment and decoration with Japanese art all quite good.
This resort location is diagonally opposite to the famous Old England Resort.
Room not big but the bed quite clean & comfortable. Room & toilet quite clean.
Internet signal very weak inside the room (Wifi & Data), unable to connect to FB and Whatsapp also.
The resort in not lift provided. We need carry all the luggage to the top floor (1st~3rd floor) room by own.
Very simple breakfast is provided.

Location, environment, decoration all quite good, but sound proof is very bad. Coincident the day of my stay there is a travel group, they depart at 7.30am (why I know they depart at 7:30? Because each of them passby my room and repeat "7:30, 7:30" since 6am or earlier) it is so irritating, I totally can't sleep.
Room not big but quite comfortable, I like their bed. Room quite clean, toilet quite clean, they use their own brand of toiletry, I like their shower gel smell, they smell good.
Internet signal very weak inside room (WIFI as well as phone data), fail to connect to FB and even Whatsapp also unable to sent out.
The best spot to see star is the outdoor rooftop restaurant (close at the night, all the light off, but the table and chair still there, very dark), near the parking.
Location quite good, few minutes walk can reach 7-11, 15 mins walk can reach Swiss Garden but it is uphill road with many car and bus.

We don't mind the decor being a bit old and dark (dull colors make it look worn out).
We don't mind a small variety of food served at breakfast; this is quite common among small hotels or motels.
What pissed us off:
1. Unprofessional service - Receptionist (a young man there most of the time) did the minimal and sorry, no smile, no offer of help like where you should park the car. We had to remind him the car plate number, for instance. He's probably rather occupied with his computer games/chats.
2. The lobby and canteen where you have breakfast: lousy! There's a magazine/newspaper rack with magazines and newspapers loosely stacked, very messy
The food: When the porridge bowls were empty, there would be NO ONE you can ask or find (not even in the kitchen - a small window where u can look inside). We waited about 15 minutes, nothing happened, so we gave up!
3. No initiative to replace toilet paper for our room. We had to go look for a staffer, taking about 10 minutes
