A nice hotel with clean and spacious room with excellent view. less than 1K from the forest park, if you're runner, you will enjoy the morning jog here. Many trails for you to jog and explore. a good hotel for families to spend a day or 2 with.
Stayed here 2 nights. Nice big room with large bed. Comforter a little too heavy first night, we asked for another and they got us a lighter one for 2nd night. Bathroom had a jacuzzi tub, but we couldn’t get it to work without spraying water all over. No biggie. We got a room with a balcony, they face the bamboo covered mountains behind the hotel. Sat out there a lot, sipped wine, chilled, romantic. Breakfast Taiwan style, plenty. We ate dinners in hotel restaurant—decent prices, food good, some menu items unavailable, maybe due to less diners on weekdays. A few staff speak some English, but might be a challenge now and then if you speak no mandarin. They shuttled us to and from Xitou park for free. Thanks! Also, on last night, they organized a free lightning bug excursion for us and a caravan of other guests. We went to a local farm and were amazed by thousands of yinghuochong—something I’ve wanted to experience for several years. Wow! They really do their best to make your stay enjoyable. It’s not a five star hotel, but for what you pay, you get a five star experience.…
We stayed there a few nights and were really pleased by the location as well as the experience!! None of the staff was speaking English except one, so every request was a struggling which always ended well. Due to the hotel location we had dinner in their restaurant every evening and discovered great meals after having tried to decipher the only in Chinese menu :-) There is a bus stop in front of the hotel but you can also call them to ask them to drive you from/to nantou bus station. They even drove us up in the mountains to visit tea plantations. Our room was comfortable with a balcony and a nice view of the mountains.
This is my first time to come here . Great views clean room and nice people. We have eight people for family room People here are very hot couple tell us for travel information . I am very sincere to recommend this
A wonderfully helpful staff ensured I had a great visit. This includes suggesting where to go and how to get there, one member of staff even waiting with me at the bus stop to ensure that I got on the right bus and the driver knew where I wanted to get off. They also have a collection of cars they use to take you to the local sights for free, dropping you off at Xitou and the bus station and other nearby places with no advance booking needed. The room was excellent, clean and had a wonderful jet stream bath in there (I was in a double room). A little disappointed that they only had soap rather than liquid shower gels but everything else such as a razor, toothbrush and paste etc is provided. Breakfast was good although if you are looking for a western style breakfast you will be disappointed. The dinner available was good but I would say it is a touch more expensive then what you can get hold of at other nearby places to eat. Overall a great hotel that I would advise getting in touch with before you even set foot in Taiwan as I am sure they will be able to advise you on things to make your stay more enjoyable.…
