At the heart of city, it’s close to A-zone and many good restaurants nearby. You also can taste different kinds of breakfast restaurants in walking-distance area, from traditional TW cuisine to western brunch. Room is clean and neat. Hotel offers some desserts, tea and coffee for free. However, there’s NO elevator so you need to carry luggage all by yourself. 房間乾淨舒適,一樓提供免費咖啡茶品及小點心。 雖不提供早餐,在步行可達的距離有傳統知名小吃及早餐店、好餐廳、文創園區。 但是旅館沒有電梯,需要自己搬行李。

We spent a night at RA Guesthouse. There are about 4-5 floors in this hotel, with each floor having around 3 rooms. Given the low height of building, there is no elevator, so those with heavy luggage will struggle with the stairs. Nevertheless, should there be a hotel staff, he or she will help with the luggage. The room we stayed in was moderate in size, and comfortable. Bathroom includes a WC and shower. Guests can make drinks or have some biscuits at the kitchen/dining area, in front of the lobby.

Ra guest house is a beautiful charming boutique hotel full of character and design. Price is honest and position couldn't be better to discover Hualien. You have also a free laundry. But the real richness of this place is a man named Lin. He was our reference and guide for every needs we have had and solved any problem. Not only he finger us out one if the best restaurant in the city but even was able to avoid us to pay a 900 $ parking fine having our car in front of the hotel on an apparently allowed parking place. Lin is a man perfect in his work and we still thank him for his kindness and efficiency!

We arrived at RA Guesthouse and fell in love with the vibe and decor. Our room was extremely clean and the bed was comfortable. Excellent shower pressure and nice new towels. Amazing body wash and shampoo!! The breakfast vouchers offered are excellent value. We chose the dumpling restaurant next door. We didn't end up taking the bikes for a ride but they looked like they were in good condition. If we return to Hualien we will stay at RA Guesthouse.

I loved this place from the minute I walked through the door. Relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. The retro style of the place is unique and a lot of love has gone into the design with the guest in mind. I really hope the owners carry on designing beautiful hotels like this one. This is as good as any 5• hotel.

This is by far one of the best boutique hotels we've ever stayed in in Taiwan! The receptionist mentioned since the new management took over this previously 3-star business hotel, the owner, being into interior design, decided to completely renovate this little hotel, with currently very trendy retro-style furniture and room design to liven up the whole hotel space, rooms and communal area! The end result is not only a fun environment to stay in, but their added personal touches simply make the hotel's overall rating a top choice! The hotel has a communal area near the reception, where the staying guests can have a read from a selection of books, magazines and local guide books. Apart from that, their complimentary coffee and snack bar is a delight! We have enjoyed it very much whenever we came back to the hotel , before heading up to the room. Providing nice boutique style toiletries, supporting local businesses by collaborating with nearby locally popular breakfast cafes as their breakfast providers are also very nice arrangement by the hotel. Overall, this hotel definitely deserves everyone who travels to Hualien a visit. I would stay there again if I ever go back to Hualien.

I got to know this guesthouse through a Taiwan magazine and I was attracted by the pics and write up. I decided to book this guesthouse through their website. On 11 March, me and hubby arrived Hualien and check-in to this guesthouse. The guesthouse is exactly what I saw in the magazine. The counter staff is very friendly. When they knowing we are 1st time visiting Hualien and hand us a map and recommended us where we can go for dinner or shopping. We both like the room setting. At the reception lobby there is a coffee corner, you can make yourself a coffee and read some magazines ( only for their guest ). There are quite a number of eating house around this guesthouse. 庙口红茶 open till very late hours and 怡味餐店 open around 5:30am till 12noon.
