Friends treated us to the all you can eat buffet here at this hotel. It was packed as I think a tour bus had just stopped by. The set up is ok but the selection was so so. I felt Fresh Bar at Azure Hotel was much better

There's:

- noodle bar
- lu rou fan
- dim sum (not much)
- soups
- stews
- deep fried crab
- duck
- risotto
- fried fish (similar to fish n chips without the fries)
- fresh fruit
- some dessert
- coffee
- soft drinks

Items weren't refilled often and I felt the quality of the dishes weren't very high. Service wasn't attentive as tables had used plates through out our meal there.

I think the lunch buffet closes at 2p and they start clearing everything away without giving guests a chance to finish out.

I came with a tour group. The room looked new, clean and quiet. A decent 3 star hotel room. Hotel located in the town, close to the BUSY street for hua lian standard, about 15 min walk from the hotel. Breakfast buffet was served with some good number of selections. A lot of Chinese tourists in the hotel. Seven eleven store just 5 min walk.

Location is quite convenient only a short walk or bike ride (free rentals) to explore around town. Room is very modern and beds are comfy. Breakfast buffet is pretty disappointing... Most items were like warm or empty by 9am and not refilled.

For about S$110 per nite for twin sharing is quite a steal. Rooms are clean n comfortable.
However, these are areas which I think they can improve on.
There is no kerb at the shower area, so when you shower, the whole toilet is wet.
The mini-bar is just below the sink mirror, so when u use d mirror, it can get quite uncomfortable as its quite warm.
Lastly, housekeeping was not really up to standard. Came back 1 night without bath towel n rug. Then another day, thy didnt wash my used cup. Thy left d cup for 2days without washing it.
This hotel is not within d main town so u hv to get a taxi to drive you to town which takes about 15 min
Hotel does pick up service fr Hua Lien train station

This hotel was nice, modern and clean. The rooms were comfortable and the bed was great. The breakfast was one of the better we had on this trip around Taiwan. Overall it was a nice place for a good value.

Our host hotel during our dragonboat race in Hualien, clean room with basic amenities and toiletries, served sumptuous breakfast. Service was quick and courteous staff. I highly recommend this hotel. Though its hard to communicate in English just like any other parts in Taiwan.

Good hotel with a fairly central location in Hualien city. Room is clean and modern and the front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. Only thing that could be better was the buffet breakfast - it just isn't very good.

Followed tour group to Hualian and stayed one night in this hotel. Room is decent size with toilet and bathroom separated. Bed is comfortable to sleep in. Slept well so no complaints 😊. Hotel breakfast was quite good with both Chinese and Western food. Good freshly brewed coffee.

We had an easy and smooth checking.
The room was enormous with 2 queen size beds and all the toiletries and electrical kettle. Very good wifi.
The use of the spa is included in the room rate.
Free use of laundry equipment.
Located in quiet, scenic place.
Difficult with English
Breakfast leans more to Asian style, but I did not hunger.

After a flight from Singapore, a train ride from Taipei, a nice dinner and a visit to the local Giant shop, we were more than ready for a rest at this hotel and it did not disappoint.
Like many hotels in this price bracket, it is clean, comfortable and convenient. It's location on a main street means easy access to many shops and restaurant (ask for a food map of the area). We were looking for a nice beef noodle restaurant but chanced on a small, homely place where the food was delicious. There were all many of shops to look at and explore, even on a drizzly evening, and we treated ourselves to a box of mochi (a local speciality) that sustained us for a couple of days after.
The hotel was a base for our organised cycling trip (well done Giant Adventure and Frank Hou) and while we had to negotiate city traffic got a spell, it wasn't all that different from traffic in any other city.
The included breakfast was good, offering choices for most palates.
We would certainly stay here again.
