Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I booked in the morning and got the last room available. The hostess picked me up at the railroad station as agreed and took us less than 5 min through the back alleys back to the B&B. My room has double queen beds, good for 4 persons, so she gave me a small discount from the published price. The room air conditioning was already turned on when I got in -- it was nice when outside temperature was like 32-33 degree celsius. There is a 27" LED TV plus every amenities that you might look for (iron, hair dryer, coffee pot, tea bags and mugs...). Nice furnitures to make the room homey and a small balcony (second floor). The hostess told me the drinks in the fridge are free to guests. There is a public desk top on the first floor and free to use laundry machine with the detergent supply. The front door entrance uses a fob. During my stay, I met several couples who hung around in the living room. There is a breakfast option that you can pay extra to get a hearty hot meal prepared to your arrival.

Since I had to join a tour group early morning, she let me leave my luggages in the living room area and gave me a spare key to re-enter after my tour. I was able to take a break, changed into clean clothing before catching the train back to Taipei. The hostess made extra effort dropping me off at the train station.

This particular B&B is run by several siblings. They all live nearby. The house was originally built for their dad but somehow he did not want to move in. They converted it into a B&B with gorgeous details (like crystal chandelier, travel memorabilia from Europe...) and attentions to things like a medicine cabin, cupboard, bookshelf with fun reads.

The B&B is located in a courtyard where there are the other two B&B's. A few steps away, there is also a youth hostel. It is about 10 min walk to the streets where the famous eateries and local pasty shops are located.

All in all, it is truly a gem and you are no doubt going to find hospitality here.

We are from Hong Kong. The Home stay is beautifully decorated. Even more beautiful than a hotel. Everything kept clean and tidy. The home stay mistress is very friendly and helpful. Quite close to the train station and the home stay provide transportation. Price is very reasonable. Highly recommended.

It's within walking distance to the train station. the owner offers to pick up the guests for free. Nicely decorated with an European touch. Quiet neighborhood that guarantes a good rest after one day of hiking. Breakfast is fresh and tasty with a personal touch. would stay here again.

The owner was very kind to pick up from the train station to the staying place, and gave a detail information for the locations around. They were very helpful to offer us also. The cost is fair not expensive at all, moreover, I do not like the decoration much as it was too colorful with many bears and pictures around. It may be nice for others as it was home-like however I prefer simple decoration more.

the owner picked us up from the train station once we arrived, took out a map and recommended us where to go for dinner. The place is very cosy, nicely decorated and super spacious. The toilet is very big. All necessities provided, including floss and cotton buds. Free flow of drinks from the fridge and coffee machine. Living room has a computer and wii too. Highly recommended. Owner is very helpful, ordered and picked up train tickets for us. Lent us bicycles for free.
