We have been to the Bulgari Bali several times now over the years and each time we ask ourselves "why go anywhere else?" It is truly that special. Even by Balinese standards, the warmth and hospitality shown by the staff and management are beyond compare, from the welcome at reception to the nightly gifts left in the room to the genuine smiles from everyone, eager to please and get you whatever you need.

This can't always be easy. At their new higher price points, the Bulgari attracts much more of a "serve me NOW" crowd who treats the staff with less courtesy than other resorts we visited in Bali, but the staff are unshakeable.

The facilities are absolutely immaculate. Not a grain of sand remained in our villa though we tracked in plenty of sand from the gorgeous (how many times can I use that word) private beach, reached by a manned hillavator.

The villas are enormous and private, with plenty of space to spread out. A decadently large bathroom features two showers (one indoor, one outdoor) with a Toto automated toilet in a separate room. An enormous "walk through" closet provides plenty of storage and I am still dreaming of the ice cold bedroom with those gorgeous sheets and that perfect mattress. Very few air conditioners can get a villa down to 19 degrees in Bali, but these can, for those who like to sleep with it cold.

There have been a few tradeoffs after COVID. The beach staff no longer serves meals on the beach, but instead invites you to the beach restaurant a short walk away. We actually ended up preferring that as the food was hotter and it was a nice break from the equatorial sun to enjoy the open-air restaurant.

Dinner at IL RISTORANTE compared favorably to our extensive travels in Italy, and breakfast each morning was a delightful feast for the senses, overlooking the serenity of the glass sea.

The Bulgari is rather isolated (good!) so if you're looking for a night club scene or a place to use as a base to go other places in Bali, I would not recommend it. Once you're inside the walls, if you're like us, you'll never want to leave. And why would you?

On the cliffs at Uluwatu, Bulgari is apart from the chaos that is Denpasar. The resort tops a steep cliff and site and rooms face south into the Indian Ocean. By far the most compelling reason to visit is its remarkable beach. When we visited, there was fourteen foot surf (which due to the steep cliffs we could not actually hear from our room). There is a 300 yard long funicular lift down to the beach, where there is a two story shack/restaurant and a beach club with lounge chairs and a small bar. We had all our lunches (food was delicious) at the restaurant, and LOVED our service. Thank you, Surya, Pandi and Niko for your friendly companionship. (Niko is a killer photographer).

The resort itself is ultra-luxe. The rooms are, believe it or not, both larger and fancier than any of the Amans we have stayed it, full of beautiful dark wood, high ceilings and many with pools and decks, as well as large outside living areas. We had a butler, Stephanus, who was omnipresent and super helpful. We have never been fans of Bulgari's heavy handed high fashion jewelry (who can afford?) and the nearly three foot high Bulgari logo below the pool was (candor is warranted here) ultra-cheesy. But this is a really fine resort, with beautiful facilities and exceptional personal service. Worth a visit!

(The taxi ride to/from airport was an hour and a half and super depressing. Tourism has not been kind to this lovely island).

Giving this 5 stars as we booked this on points and were overwhelmed with the beauty of the property and the room. I read these reviews prior to booking and in my opinion the pictures and descriptions of the rooms don’t do them justice. They are large and well laid out to feel super special. Two smart Toto toilets and a dressing hall add to the convenience of the layout. The only improvement I would suggest is having 2 shower heads. We had a cliff side villa and you could hear the waves roll in from bed - it was awesome.

The bar at sunset was one of the most picturesque places I have ever been in my life, and the seaside restaurant and beach area were very special.

The resort did not feel over-run with other guests, it felt very private.

All these positives probably overshadowed a few areas for improvement. Overall we were not impressed with the food on the property. Breakfast was bland and the appertivo they give you at the bar was a nice touch in theory, but was mediocre in taste. We ate at Il Ristorante, and while a fun experience - did not feel this was worth it. The only thing I would order again was the waygu.

The staff was incredibly friendly but slow and not super attentive (with the beach bar being an exception here). The butler service was a bit disjointed and no different than having a central concierge desk with many workers at it.

I would definitely recommend the hotel to others, it achieved our goals of marking the end of our trip in an incredibly beautiful, romantic, and special way - but will depend on what you are optimizing for.

Easily the best resort for couple i've been to. The check in process was really swift, after that we had our personal butlers, Pak Edo & Wayan, deliver us to our villa with a buggy while introducing us to the resort facilities.

Our villa number, 39, has a really clear view of the endless ocean. I mentioned that i booked the villa for honeymoon and they provided us with a happy honeymoon cake.

The first thing me and my wife did was visit the beach. You had to ride a lift along the steep cliff and walk down quite a long stairs to reach the beach but it was really worth it. The beach feels very private and the beach attendant prepared us our beach chairs and provided us with cold water.

At night, you can clealry see the stars in the sky and our butlers prepared us with a hot drink in a tumbler which tasted really good.

Breakfast in Sangkar comes with a variety of buffet choices of cheese, cured meats, smoked fishes and cereals. There is also an a la carte menu available for order. I ordered the grilled baramundi and it was really tasty. You also get a wonderful view in the outdoor seating that faces towards the ocean.

Thanks Bulgari for the wonderful stay, thanks Pak Edo & Wayan for taking good care of us.

Our recent stay was simply amazing. Every need met or surpassed. The service and energy of the staff and associates is perhaps the best I have received in 50+ years of traveling. Every morning at breakfast we were greeted with such sincere warmth and efforts to start our day in such a positive attitude. Diah greated us every morning with one thing in mind - make us feel welcomed and take care of our needs. After the first day our names were memorized and we were greeted at every opportunity with our name and was there anything they could do to make our stay more enjoyable. The views are incredible and the beach is very private with full service available. We received a small gift or snacks each night, room cleaning prompt and seamless, transportation at an instant, security was top notch and privacy was the ambiance. As someone previously mentioned - this is not the place to go if you want nightlife but if you want scenery, food and refreshments looking over the cliffs this is the place. We were fortunate enough to stay 5 nights and wished we could have stayed 50. The organization behind this property obviously has and adheres to excellent training because this level of service “just doesn’t happen” on its own. This should be the model taught to other exclusive properties in the world as it sets the standard.

The hotel seems they are suffering from the pandemic. The service is terrible and a bad representation of the brand. Rooms do not have adequate WiFi to cover the villas they give and when asked to fix take over a day to improve. When asking for room service they lie to your face expecting you to be born yesterday telling us a pizza will take a long time to make because they need to make the dough and make it round, when the truth is pizza dough is made in advance to ferment. They also were not able to take room service orders because the person is in the toilet, our appetite was gone immediately. This hotel have told us many management left due to the pandemic and in my opinion are not fit to be operating a premium brand where there customer expectation is clearly going to be of top service. Very disappointing and we have decided to leave the hotel to Four Season due to this.

My husband, mom, and I had the privilege of experiencing the exquisite Bvlgari Resort Bali, and it was truly a dreamlike escape! From the moment we stepped foot on this enchanting property (we are lucky to experience the three bedrooms mansions) until the day we reluctantly bid farewell, our stay was an absolute embodiment of perfection.

The check-in process was seamless, setting the tone for the remarkable journey that awaited us. The staff at Bvlgari Resort Bali are nothing short of extraordinary – their warm reception and unwavering commitment to enhancing our stay made us feel like cherished guests in a paradise of luxury.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the exceptional team at Bvlgari Resort Bali who transformed our stay into an unforgettable masterpiece. From Yossi, Rose and Adeline, each of you played an instrumental role in crafting a truly wondrous experience. Your dedication and hospitality exceeded our highest expectations, and we are profoundly thankful for the indelible mark you left on our stay. Thank you!

The property itself is a masterpiece of design and nature. The lush gardens, captivating pool areas, and awe-inspiring vistas of the ocean enveloped us in an ambiance of serenity and opulence that will forever hold a place in our hearts. Whether we were lounging beside the resplendent pool, indulging in culinary delights at the resort's exceptional restaurants, or relishing rejuvenating spa treatments, we were perpetually surrounded by an aura of beauty and comfort.

The pinnacle of our stay was unquestionably the extraordinary service. The staff went above and beyond, ensuring our every desire was met, leaving us feeling pampered and cherished.

Bvlgari Resort Bali is an Eden unto itself, and we departed with hearts brimming with gratitude and a treasury of cherished memories. If you seek an unforgettable retreat where opulence harmonizes with warmth and hospitality, Bvlgari Resort Bali beckons. We eagerly await our return to fashion more extraordinary moments at this exceptional haven!

We stayed at Bulgari Resort from 23/5 to 26/5 for our 40th wedding anniversary . The moment we checked in until we leave, this resort treats us like VIP.. We have not been to a resort where we felt so warmly welcomed by their staffs who are efficient, helpful members who go above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay with them . Special thanks to the team especially Liana and my butler , Parma
who are professionals and provide personalised attention to us. As well as Gede who assisted us with the check out. My villa is facing the magnificent Indian Ocean and we just felt unwilling to leave the villa on our entire stay. Room is big n kept cleaned at all times. Resort with the on-site restaurants offers wide range of food choices n every dishes is delicious especially IL Ristorante that serves Italian food. Breakfast is awesome …. Love it plus the excellent service provided by both restaurants. The private beach ‘s view is so beautiful. So nice to watch the waves by the beach.
Yoga was good experience too , with the instructor who gave clear instructions as it was our first time doing it. We had a wonderful memorable experience and would highly recommend this resort to others …. Of course we will come back again in the near future.

Situated at one of the most stunning locations in Bali, it is one of the finest resort in Bali, and can easily come in top 5 most luxury resort all over Bali where we can see many reputed chain hotels. BVLGARI Bali is Bulgari Hotel’s second luxury resort and as of now the only beach resort of their entire portfolio. A joint project between Bulgari Hotels & Marriott Hotels, opened its doors on 2006, and went through a major renovation on 2016, this resort is in great shape after almost 18 years in its operation and felt hardly any need of renovation. BVLGARI Bali is a fusion of Balinese culture with Italian architecture.

Though we originally planned for Mandapa Ritz Carlton Reserve, but some change of plans brought us here. We got to stay at their highest category of One-Bedroom Villa, i.e. Ocean Cliff Villa. The view is stunning from up here. The villa was big, but we felt the plunge pool is smaller in size compared to the new hotels we stayed later.

The resort houses 3 restaurants. Sangkar, the all day dining restaurant. IL Ristorante, the Italian fine dining restaurant which serves dinner only. Last but not the least, La Spiaggia, which can be accessed by cable car and serves fresh catch sea-foods. Due to our allergic restrictions, we had to go a vegetarian set menu for IL Ristorante which we felt bit bland according to our taste buds but we thoroughly enjoyed the food at Sangkar.

Being at Uluwatu, the hotel is at a cliff, and you need to take the cable car to 150m down and another 100 steps to access the beach. It does worth it, totally.

For us the underwhelming part was the Spa which was disappointing to say the least. Shared the feedback later with Mr. Anthony, and he addressed it along with other feedbacks, but still haven’t received the followup mail’s response yet

The main pool area is beautiful and it has amazing sunset vantage points which are not to be missed. Make sure to come at the Bulgari Bar for evening cocktail to enjoy the sunset 🥂

I stayed at Bvlgari resort in Bali over the past week with my family. Totally enjoyed my stay. The staff was super friendly and offered high-quality and personalized service to my family. I would especially like to thank Mr. Dewa for his extraordinary service during our stay at the resort. He was able to promptly coordinate with housekeeping and arrange for our forgotten clothing, which we accidentally left at the resort during check-out, to have them ship to our home. Again, thank you again Dewa for taking care of us while during out entire stay. We are looking forward to our next visit soon.
