After 5 days in Ubud area descovering the island we booked one night at Bulgari It was a really goergeus experience!!! The resort is amazing in every way: Facilities, setting, views, food… Our Villa with pool looking to the sea was amazing, also the main pool to enjoy the sunset The Italian restaurant for an special date was perfect, it was my birthday The spa treatments the best I had in the island Debora, our butler, was fantastic!!!! Helping us in every thing we may need, friendly as no other, she made the diference: gracias!! They give us a late check out, it was perfect because we was able to enjoy our Villa until evening, also many more details because my birthday… All in one: a luxury experience I recomend to everyone visiting Bali to have the best rest after visiting the Island…

Our server Avio at the restaurant at the Bulgari, Uluwatu, Bali provided exceptional service. Avio went above and beyond with his professional service. We have just returned from a 3 night stay at the Bulgari. We have stayed at various resorts in Bali over the years and the location is breathtaking. Each villa is the same size but with varying locations. We had a premier ocean villa and it was stunning. We didn't leave the hotel during our stay and found the food of a very high quality and really couldn't find fault with anything. (we are generally very picky!) The staff were all absolutely charming and provided a really lovely service. It's certainly not cheap but it certainly gave us the WOW factor we were looking for.

The Bulgari, Bali is an architectural beauty in a minimalist way perched on a cliff above the Indian Ocean facing south with lush landscaping. Our cliffside room was breathtaking with no rooftops to spoil the view and a huge outdoor living space which included a visit from three large monkeys who decided to look in on us. (don't feed or encourage these guys!) Overall a great property with attentive staff and good food so we're very glad we stayed there. This was a very different experience from our jungle hotel in Ubud, the Capella, which was also fantastic. If you're interested in something a little more on the adult side, this is a nice place to stay. The only serious concern was that one evening there was a wedding reception on the terrace above all the restaurants and bar and the noise from the DJ and singer were overwhelming and made conversation almost impossible. We could still hear them back in our room which was a long ways off. Another night of this intrusion and we might have left the property. There must be some option to limit the conflict. The other small issue was that the occupancy seemed low and the energy on the property felt a little flat and we actually like calm and quiet. Beautiful property and we would highly recommend for the decerning traveler. …

Stayed back in 2013. Wonderful experience. Breathtaking views. Breakfast is of highest quality. Huge villas. We loved the Indonesian food here.. very authentic. They did a wonderful nasi goreng. Love the food served by the pool which included lobster sliders. Great spa.

Dream-like and paradise-like are not enough to describe the experience in staying in one of finest luxury resorts in the world. From premium traditional villa interiors but with modern amenities to stunning vistas, the Bulgari Resort Bali doesn't not disappoint. Hospitality is another major plus, with Mr. Lanang serving as one of the best butlers around. Food understandably is on the high side, but can be improved in portioning and taste, e.g. small hollandaise portion on the eggs benedict. Will wait for the Il Ristorante Bali to get a Michelin star before trying it. Wouldn't miss the opportunity to stay again if given the chance.
