Staying at Mamo Hotel was not a bad experience. The room was clean and comfortable and it seemed pretty central from what I could tell. Its an easy walk down to the cliffs above the surf break. Even easier scooter ride if carrying a board. Scooters can be hired from the hotel, or they will organise other transport if you plan to go further afield. The pool is nice and the overall price of the room was very reasonable. There is a convenience store across the road which seemed to get popular in the evening, especially on the nights when other venues down the hill might be busy. The noise didn't become an issue. Altogether, it was an ok, reasonably priced place to stay.
I'm living in Bali since many years and this place is the worst hotel I've ever been... Paying 300,000 per person to say in room for 3 people without 3 proper bed, no breakfast, having water evacuation from a bathroom bot even clean, not clean sheets, being woke up on Sunday at 6.30, then 7.30 amd 8am by a truck pumping water from the hotel... This hotel should be close by health authority. The owner just laughed when we explained him our dissatisfaction, such insulting person and worst experience ever! You should be ashamed to give such poor quality of services while ripping off people.
Good location, nice pool, friendly staff and fair price. Recommended for a short stay and for people that don’t want to drive a scooter, walking distance to beaches, restaurants and cafes in Uluwatu area
Terrible experience in my whole life . The worse hotel I’ve ever stayed. We had been traveling to many countries when we arrived and we were very tired! When we enter the room this was the situation we found, extremely dirty and bad smelling. I went to reception and showed this pictures and the guy sad to wait to clean in the other day, we didn’t accepted. So, we showed me room but with air conditioning broken. Finally change to other premium but there was almost no water in shower ! We slept one night and in the other day asked them to cancel , she cancel but only one night. This room and this place is not valuable for money. It’s disorganized, dirty and expensive for what they present to guests, they are not honesty with guests. They say that is a modern building and it’s too old and dirty. …
