My stay at the surf camp was fantastic, one of the highlights for me was definitely the social activities at nights. The host Zara made everyone feel really welcome and ensured that we all had a good time. The food was also excellent and exactly what you needed after a morning out on the water surfing. The surfing was also great and all the instructors were excellent. Iwan was excellent and good fun made everyone laugh and made the experience very enjoyable.

Note all poor reviews are met with no accountability at all. Charged my credit card without authorization. Yoga and surf lessons are extra and expensive. Dirty rooms / beds, tennis court. Everything other than the food (available on short hours) was below average.

Very friendly and helpful staff. I spent a week practicing yoga, surfing, journaling and having best time ever with like minded people. The facility is so nice and peaceful with soooo many beautiful exotic trees and plants. Daily fresh food prepared and served with love. Oliver- yoga instructor shared great amount of knowledge with us and helped to keep the spirit high. Zara- kept everything well organized. Beautiful swimming pool, best massage lady, fun local surf instructors, it all made my stay just awesome. I very much recommend uluwatu surf and yoga retreat for everyone who wants to learn and spend great time with great people. Thank you !

Was there for 10days on my own. Great rooms and location (far enough from Main Street that it's quiet but close enough that's walkable as well), super friendly staff and instructors, and it was exactly what I was looking for - a place where people are focused on surfing. Will go back again for sure

I had a great experience at Padang Padang Surf Camp. We took semi-private lessons with Randy, who was a great coach. He was very knowledgeable about every break we went to, where was the best place to paddle out, positioning and tips on how to improve my surfing. Randy I’ll buy you a Bintang (or two) next time! Would definitely go back again.

Great surf camp with great surf coaches. 100% focus on surfing - if you want to party it's not the right camp for you. Two surf trips per day and great rental board selection. Nice, chilled atmosphere.

I stayed 10 days at the surf camp. It is the perfect all-round package if you want to surf a lot and chill in an amazing camp. I have also definitely made progress in my surfing skills during the time. No matter which surf teacher: you always feel in good hands, they motivate you and you feel safe and get lots of tips. The size of the groups are just perfect, they took us to different surf spots in the area and all guides did an amazing job. In addition, you always get delicious and very fresh food with various options. Overall, I felt very comfortable and would come back anytime.

My friend and I stayed at the camp for 1 week. We improved our surfing so quickly and had so much fun. Randy was our couch at the start and we couldn’t recommend him enough, he made us feel safe and confident in the water and we were catching green waves on the first day! Scotty was our other couch and he was so lovely and taught us so much. He pushed us to build our skills and we could start to catch bigger waves! When the beach was busy with other camps, we could tell we had the better guides and we were getting sooo many waves all the time! The camp itself is a beautiful space and nice and quiet. The staff were absolutely lovely and the food was amazing. The only down fall is the surf lessons/guides aren’t included in the overall price of booking the surf camp which we didn’t realise so it ended up being pretty expensive overall. But we had an amazing week and met awesome people and hung out with the locals all week! There is a new photographer there who is so lovely and got some sick shots with the drone and being in the water which is so worth it! Overall, couldn’t thank Randy and Scotty enough for their amazing skills we will miss them!!…

The surf camp was nice and quiet, good for a surf camp when you are exhausted from bug days out in the sun and water. The surf guides we absolutely wonderful especially Randi and Scotti. Each local surf guide made sure the conditions were right for our level of surf which eased a lot of nervousness in unfamiliar waters and their spirits were always so high. Food was absolutely delicious and very accomodating for Gluten free dietary requirements. The only negative was the expense of the surf camp. Already for a week we expected a lot of surfing, assessing the photos and discussions on our surf performance however none of that was involved in the cost. It was a few we found out later was to be paid on top of the accommodation and food. However, overall a wonderful experience. Thanks Padang Padang. Until next time!…
