My Husband and I spent a week here recently and had a great time. The barn was lovely, equipped with everything needed and was cosy and comfortable. We particularly liked the bedroom which was spacious and the bed really comfy. We would recommend Douglas's Barn to anyone who likes their home comforts, with lovely scenery, great walks and friendly people....

we stayed here recently with our 10 month old cocker spaniel puppy and couldnt have found a better place. Angela and Robert were most welcoming (even had a fresh cake on arrival which was yummy!). The barn was decorated beautifully and was incredibly cosy on the colder evenings, especially when we had the log burner was on. The fields behind...

This was our second visit to Douglas's Barn. We love the area and we love the accommodation. The property had recently changed hands and there is always a worry that things will not be the same. Well, the changeover has been seamless and the welcome is just as warm. We will be going back. Enough said!

My husband and I have just spent four nights in Tom's Barn and WOW what a find it turned out to be especially as dog owners (there were even towels for our dog). Upon arrival we were greeted by Angela and shown around the beautiful cottage. The fire was lit, the kettle just boiled and a freshly baked cake on...
