I was here with my family and friends around new year (Dec 30 2017 to Jan 2nd 2018) , we took lot of time to research and finalize on this place. here are few things you should consider 1.This is not a resort , its homestay , managed by a enthusiastic entrepreneur . 2.The rooms we stayed were neat and big 3.BIG DISAPPOINTMENT is food n hygiene of kitchen , its all men who smoke everywhere and kitchen is very poorly maintained , one can clearly see.(we were told these were part time cooks) there arent any choice for food items , and every time we literally waited with empty plates. 4.they went over and beyond to keep us happy with whatever resources they had. 5.If you are travelling with kids one should be careful about steps as rooms are are level 1(though certain cottages r there on ground floor) 6.There arent any ice places to eat neither in masinagudi town(which si about 1 km from this place) , one should go to Ooty only few nice things: 1.nice place to lazying around doing nothing, though there some good scenic places nearby (some dam etc) 2.its a farm with some pet animals kid can enjoy . 3.Young and receptive entrepreneur managing this property Suggestion: please ask your staff not to smoke in common areas keep kitchen clean n neat improve the food quality and variety

Nice rooms, ambiance, and overall good utilisation of space available made our stay memorable. We enjoyed chitchatting over relaxed sofa & sitting arrangement at the reception, while the kids play on lawn and swing. A small match of cricket, badminton, or volleyball is what one cant resist off. Food was delicious and one could savor the homemade taste of it. Everyone amongst our group of around 20 felt like extending our stay.

We'd planned at the last minute to stay at masinagudi and this was one of the home stays that still had bookings open. I took the gamble thinking 89 reviews was good enough. And, i was wrong. I'll start with the positives 1. Location was good. Relatively speaking to their service 2. None Negatives 1. Big trust buster - the manager recommends to take a jeep to go to the nearby maya river where one can take bath and charges Rs. 1000 (from the initial (Rs. 1200). Firstly, there was no need of a jeep and secondly it's not a place where you can take bath. Predominantly, most of the tourists had taken their own vehicle. 2. ‎They don't provide you with towels. Yes, you read it right! You need to keep asking endlessly and they provide you with 2 for 5 guests. 3. ‎The dinner buffet menu is ridiculously short and they charge a whopping Rs. 450/pax 4. ‎Breakfast - a la carte has dosas in it but they don't serve as they don't have the required utensils for it. 5. ‎No power for a good part of the day 6. ‎They charge Rs. 500 for the bon fire! Highly recommend the owners of the property to look into the activities of the people who are running this. Travelers, please stay away!
