My husband and I have just returned from staying in Swallows. A beautiful cabin with all the facilities you need. Liz and Gordon are wonderful hosts and we will be returning. Lyme Regis, Seaton and Beer are are all worth a visit and there are many good pubs serving food in the area.

We stayed with our 3 young children in the Dairy - one of 2 holiday cottages in the converted barn. We had a great, relaxing holiday and wholeheartedly recommend the cottages to families looking for a break in the peace of the countryside within a short drive of the coast (20 min to Lyme Regis for sandy beach or Seaton/Beer...

This was our 2nd night backpacking the East Devon Way, we were tired hot & thirsty after a 16 mile walk in temps of over 22* so our warm friendly greeting couldn't have been more welcome. A hearty breakfast sent us on our way to complete the last lag of the walk & certainly set us up for the day....

Beautiful cottages surrounded by fields. Lovely to escape to and only 4 miles from the coast. Well thought out for young and older children -games room, tennis court's, swing, heated swimming pool, horses and sheep to visit. Owners very friendly and thoughtful. E.g removing ladder from bank bed and deep end of pool to safeguard from temptation with our toddler!...

Our family (2 grown ups, a 14 11, 5 year old and a 10 mths old) stayed in the Granary in August for a week. The cottage was clean, had everything we needed and more. A cot was provided along with a highchair and zbed so we didn't have to worry about fitting everything in the cars. The cottage itself...

Our family of four have just returned from a very relaxing four night stay in the B&B accommodation. The 2 bedrooms and bathroom seemed to have been recently renovated to a high standard and the master bed was very comfortable (I have a bad back so can be fussy). The breakfasts were delicious and again quality ingredients / brands provided....

Just returned from a few days staying at The Granary. The weather was amazing, so we spent most of our time in the lovely garden which has great views over the countryside. Our 7 month old was made very welcome, and a high chair, cot, stair gate and bath was provided which meant we were able to pack light. A...

Our three-generational family of seven stayed in the Dairy and the Swallows for three nights recently. It was perfect, as the grandparents could have their separate space to retire to (in the Swallows), but we could gather for daily activity and for a barbecue in the garden of the Dairy. Gordon and Liz made us feel quite welcome in every...

We stayed in the Swallows log cabin for a short midweek break. Due to unforseen circumstances we arrived very late in the day but Gordon was very welcoming and friendly, as was Liz when we bumped into her later in our stay. The cabin is well equipped and modern but also has a lovely cosy homely feel. Having access to...

We stayed in The Dairy, one of two self catering cottages, the Dairy having two bedrooms - one with a double bed, the other with a bunk bed. This was our second visit and our mini break was just as wonderful as last year. The games room was a godsend, keeping our small children occupied, and also mummy and daddy....
