Park was well kept, but beware of the Trains - the tracks are adjacent the park and they pass all night. We arrived late at night and had to change parking spots because the initial spot was far too small for our 34 ft RV

Quiet, peaceful camp ground, not much going on in the village but fine for a stop over, the washrooms are dated but absolutely fine and the lounge with books and board games is a nice touch, like going back 40 years in England. During the day the trains are very interesting; up to 120 wagons and three diesel engines, they...

If the sound of trains every half hour or so is a problem for you do not stay here. But it is beautiful place to stay. I don't know about the cabins being dirty, but find that hard to believe as the owners took a lot of pride in place. You get used to the trains.

Yes there's trains, but you would think people would know that since there are trains running right along the Thompson River...Oddly enough you get use to the trains and its not as dramatic as some of the other reviewers have listed it to be, (but if you are a light sleeper...bring ear plugs). The place was well maintained as you...

What a dreadful place. It was late at night, the "Approved by Tourism BC" sign lulled us into thinking it may be rustic but was at least clean. Not on your life! The cabin was dirty, would never have stepped into that shower stall and when pulling back the top bed sheet found numerous (stopped counting after 10) human hairs....

Don't plan on staying here. It's a dump and you won't get any sleep .., trains trains trains. $42 is way too much for this horrible place. And they want $5/24 hr for wifi ... are you kidding me?! Filthy laundry room so we didn't go near the showers. Grounds are a disgrace. These people should give up. .

We had driven over 500 miles we had to finally stop and rest, this was the only place we could find- should of slept somewhere on the road. It was almost dark when we pulled in. The trains come by often and they toot the horn going by the campground. This looks like it was a nice place way back...

We were tired, it was late, and didn't know there was a very nice Provincial Park a few miles down the road, so we made the mistake of stopping overnight on our way back to the lower 48. It's in a very rural area, its rundown, it's next to two sets of train tracks with trains ever 30 - 45...

The website does not accurately represent the rv park what so ever. Felt like I could get murdered in my sleep. Also no cell reception so can't call for help. Train goes by every 30 minutes so its awesome if you don't plan on sleeping. Don't recommend this sketchy place to anyone.

Given the age and location of the place, you should expect this old motel to have horrid beds and worn out decor. We felt under the managers watch; they recycle bottles quickly. It's overpriced however this is a pretty setting. All hours, you hear the trains whistle across the river-(part of the old charm). If you do stop here, be...
