As my title suggests this is a very traditional "motel" type place to stay, BUT having said that we really LOVED it!!! Old fashioned place that has had new bathrooms and curtains...but lovely big rooms, warm and immaculate ..with lovely people working here. What more do you want from an overnight stay?? We had a lovely meal in the bar...

We have visited many times from our caravan at Pendine, always comfortable, friendly, relaxed and willing to assist as I am a wheelchair user. Have stayed in the lodges a few times which have always been spotless, comfortable, spacious and lovely view to the field where we watched the wild life. Food is always top class, hot and quickly served....

Visited today with two of my sons & brother in law, restaurant very clean & staff very welcoming. I had lasagne which was homemade and the best I've had for a while, my sons had fish & chips again very tasty, my brother in law had 1/2 chicken which was cooked perfectly. Will definitely return to the Forge.

We stayed here for one night, the room was very clean and very warm which is good! Very comfy double bed and nice walk in shower. We had dinner in the restaurant, nice choice on the menu.. I ordered a steak which came out well done (I asked for medium), not a huge problem as the service made up for...

The Forge is absolutely spotless and deserves every one of its 5 stars hygiene rating! The food here was lovely "good old days" home cooking. Staff were friendly and high chairs and changing facilities (again sparkling clean) were available. Plenty of parking and accessible to wheelchairs. Takes credit cards. Easy to find as on the main road.

My wife & I stayed for 2 nights with our 8 year old daughter, 5 year old son & family dog, whilst visiting family who live nearby. On arrival we were amazed at how clean & spacious the lodge/room was & in particular the cleanliness of the bathroom. From our previous experiences the bathroom is normally a good indicator of...
