Hashtag Tourist Inn is located in the center of PB, few minutes away from the busiest main center area. Hosts are welcoming and friendly. Rooms are clean, fan geared, but small. Do not expect to walk around your bed. Mattress is all right, on the thin range, neither comfortable, nor the opposite. Bathroom is convenient with hot shower which is useless to my opinion. It would be a better idea to provide guest with a couple of drinking water bottle daily as it is the usage all over Philipines. Breakfast is not included but may be ordered and served on each room individual terrace. WiFi is there network is not reliable. The lodge is overall quiet but may get slightly noisy by 7am when Port Barton wakes up due to bikes and car as it is set on a junction. Not a big deal though. Earplugs will do the trick. Compared to accomodations in the same price range I stayed in all over Philipines, I think Hashtag Tourist Inn is a good option considering you are 200m away from the beachfront. Just keep in mind that Port Barton is not a budget place for backpackers travelling on a shoestring. More tourists than travellers here.

Gets points for location & price. As others mention rooms are on the smaller side but perfectly functional. Safe in the room is a big bonus for me considering it’s a beach place! Friendly staff. Annoyingly our curtain didn’t cover most the window so people could see in. Would recommend though!

I stayed with my boyfriend for one night: Pros: hot water in the shower, WiFi works, good fan in the night so you can sleep (no AC), good location (near the pier and restaurants), quiet (at night) and clean (room and bathroom). Cons: they charge you for water (bottled), no breakfast, very basic room and it’s a little expensive for the space and looks of the place.

Good value accommodation for us on a budget - rooms were smaller but clean. Warm shower and fan in room. Close stroll to the beach and town and also able to book tours and mopeds although we didn’t some guests did. Only downside was inconsiderate noisy neighbours late at night on both sides. Not the properties fault of course but rooms are in same block so if someone is being equally noisy you can hear them.
