First a disclaimer - I didn't do my due diligence on Blue Cove before I visited. It was booked by a friend as stop two on a four stop holiday on Palawan, the first if which was Daluyon Resort in Sebang. It was called Blue Cove Resort and I'd reserved a 'Family Suite' so I was sure all was ok....

This is placed in Heaven. Remote (1hr by boat from Port Barton), wild, 25-30 degrees all day long, just you, the beach and the jungle and mountain behind. Amazing sunsets, crystal clear water, kayaks and few trails for hiking. Take care, is not a Maldive accomodation, despite the scenery. If you are ready to live in basic bungalows and have...

Firstly Angel is an excellent communicator and secondly its easier to travel to than it looks. We took the bus from San Jose Terminal and 4 hours later we were in port barton. The trip to blue cove took about 40 minutes and port barton bay is full of beautiful islands and beaches, The accomodation is really simple but adequate...

First things first. Don't come to blue cove if you can't live without your home comforts, like entertainment to be provided, have major dietary requirements etc. It is what it is, and what great value it is! For 1500php a night you get to be on a beautiful island, comfortable beach front huts, delicious fresh fish and hours of tranquil...

We stayed at Blue Cove over Christmas and enjoyed it. The biggest plus for me was the snorkeling there - they have a few masks, snorkels and fins that you can use free of charge. We loved being able to just snorkle off the beach, although the nicest parts of the reefs are a bit further out (after approx. 70m...

Friends were going to El Nido so we grab the opportunity to escape the "concrete jungle of Manila" and head for paradise to Blue Cove of Albaguen Island in the western side of Palawan. I will give updates on my most recent visit. The road leading to San Vicente although still under construction is longer by 50 minutes travel time,...

We just came back from Blue Cove this past weekend. Overall the pros outweigh the cons, I'll just give a brief summary of each Pros - Very quick response rate from Angel - Can pay the deposit via PayPal, they carry the fees - Van and boat transfer services and both were reliable and on-time - Cottage rates are very...
