This caravan park is a jewel on Yorke peninsula, and is only a 5 minute walk to the Watsacowie Brewery which avoids driving allowing you to enjoy a few more ales.
The amenities are amongst the best we have used, they are spotlessly cleaned daily, are very airy and well lit.
The park is well maintained and the sites are large.
Being centrally located on the lower part of the peninsula makes it a breeze to visit the bottom of this great peninsula.
Well done to the very approachable and friendly management team.

Another great stay at Minlaton Caravan Park.
Extremely busy as most were over the Easter Break, but they still managed the great friendly service we admire from small family run businesses.
Always happy to help visitors enjoy the experience.
A pity late night users of bbq’s don’t clean the bbq plates after use, ready for the next use. All it takes is a bit of water and newspaper, not difficult when bbq plate already warm. It is not the hosts job to clean BBQ more than once a day.

What a great little town and this above average caravan park right on the main drag.
I rolled in feeling weary and keen to eat, shower and take care of overdue laundry during a long distance cycling journey across South Australia.

Amy is a fantastic host and the facilities were up to scratch. The camp kitchen is clean and new and the showers are hot.

Such friendly staff here who guided me into my van site with ease. The lovely grassed areas are well kept thanks to the recycled water being used. The location is right on the township so I was able to easily walk the 2 blocks to the grocery store and post office. The amenities were very clean every day.

A very central location to all of the sites of the southern Yorke Peninsula. Extremely clean Park, with both Lawn & Gravel, powered van sites. Numerous cabins dotted around the park, with new Deluxe Cabins available soon. New, still nearing completion is the Camp Kitchen, with all the available amenities you'd expect, including a widescreen TV with fantastic reception. The reception from our van site during our stay was haphazardly non-existent, with Channel 7 being the worst for the reception. You are able to plug into existing TV antennas using a coaxial cable, but the results were the same, frustration! The park is fairly spread out with room for further expansion and development. An easy walk into the main street, and to the Harry Butler "Red Devil" Museum. The park has a few permanent sites & cabins scattered throughout. While we found most of the other parks on the peninsula to be generally full, mainly perhaps due to their seaside location, this park could have accommodated a few more vans. A nice park, which is trying to update its ambiance, has a few quirky rules, such as no mats, no fake lawn, and only one van, trailer, or camper per site, despite being huge lawn area sites, allowing 6 people to a site, and overall lacks a 'killer punch' attraction, which the beach parks seem to have.

we appreciate your review we're glad to hear you enjoyed your stay follow us on Facebook Minlaton Caravan Park to keep updated with developments, that 'killer punch' is in the pipelines! TV reception can be 'hit and miss' at times, it's not only the park affected but the town - continued effort goes into ensuring guests can watch TV! the site are spacious, however there is still a requirement per site which we hope you understand hope to see you again soon!

Great camp site and spotlessly clean amenities, whilst we choose a grass site (which was beautiful grass) there are hard standing sites to suit individual choice. Not crammed in either. We will definitely book again. I fully recommend Minlaton Caravan Site
