Another of the catered chalets from Reach4thealps. It offers very comfortable accommodation in a peaceful location which is just a short drive (which your hosts arrange) to and from the slopes each day. The sauna and hot tub are waiting for you when you get back in the afternoon. A communal sitting area offers a comfortable place to compare stories...

Eight of us recently had a Thursday to Sunday short break at the Brown Bear. It was great to be able to book the short stay in a catered chalet, and having transfers included made life easy. We could ski on the Sunday, go back to the chalet to shower and change then get the minibus up to Geneva. We...

Thanks for recommending us and we are happy you enjoyed your stay and loved the chalet and staff and also mentioning us in the office (we don't often get a thanks for all the work we do behind the scene so thanks, much appreciated!). We don't like to ever lie about location so I have double checked the distance on...

Great chalet, very friendly helpful staff, excellent food and wine. Slope transfer service absolutely essential and very good, but it's worth knowing that it wasn't available on Sunday mornings and if you only have the basic lift pass you need to get 2 buses - 2 minute walk to the bus stop is very optimistic with skis and boots.

Thanks for the lovely feedback. Yes, our drivers often have to get the next set of guests from the airport on a Sunday morning so if you want to ski we ask you to make your own way there. I hope that didn't spoil your experience and we will see you next year. Gina, Marcus and the team.

A genuinely nice, spacious, modern chalet with friendly and professional staff. Clean and comfortable, great food (cooked breakfasts, tea & cakes, canapes and fizz & high quality 3 course meals followed by cheese & coffee). Andy Chris & CJ were really accommodating with any requests for diet, transport, local recommendations etc. Plus has a bear (or 2....)

Thanks for your lovely feedback. Boris the Bear is great but not as good as Andy Chris and CJ who are doing a fantastic job! They really go the extra mile and we are so glad you appreciated it. Fingers crossed we see you again. Gina, Marcus and the team

We were a group of 14 people and one 5 month old baby. The transfer was seamless and our welcome was warm and generous. Our chalet hosts were Andy, (chef) Chris, (sous chef) and CJ. (pick up/drop off driver) The three worked together as a team and the fact that they obviously got on well, ensured there was comfortable environment....

Thanks to Chris, Andy and CJ we had a lovely week! Really delicious food and great hospitality, I can't fault it. Chocolate fondant with mint custard was incredible, overall we had an amazing time and felt welcomed everyday. Boris the bear makes it homely too!

The staff at Brown Bear were amazing from start to finish, welcoming hosts, amazing cooks and knowledgeable guides to the local area. Transfers to and from the slopes and airport were easy and the whole experience of staying at the chalet was stress free and relaxing. We will definitely be returning on another Reach4thealps holiday here, and highly recommend it...

Just spent an incredible week at Brown Bear with Andy, Cris and CJ. They have been so incredibly helpful with any request - whether that's a lift to the slopes out of hours or an extra bottle of wine for the hot tub. The food was absolutely incredible - especially the roast duck, pork belly - and the wonderful canapés...

Fantastic food and very comfortable lodgings. Staff couldn't be more helpful. Hot tub is great at the end of day. No concerns bring out of town as chalet has designated minivan and driver for drop offs and pick ups. Cannot recommend highly enough

Another brilliant stay with Reach4theAlps and incredible service by Andy, Chris & CJ. We have been made to feel incredibly welcome and nothing has been too much trouble; despite our slightly erratic hours! Can't wait to come back, roll on the 9th March, if not before.
