Fantastic oasis in the middle of Lesotho Mountains. We really enjoyed the hiking trails and especially the horse back riding with the locals. The rooms were lovely. If we should say something to improve, it starts to feel that it needs a bit of renovation to keep a five star level but still the overall feeling is wonderful.

It is a long journey to get here, but absolutely worth it! A 5 star lodge in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by the most beautiful scenery. We stayed in rondavel 5 which was very spacious, beautifully decorated and furnished. It had a private balcony as well as steps down to its own little viewing deck. We saw eland and...

We spend 4 nights at maliba luxury cottages (full board). The views were spectacular and we had some nice hikes and horse rides in the area. Great food and very friendly staff. The riverbed next to the self catering units are great for kids play. We had very nice massages too. It was the perfect way of getting completely down...

We stayed at Maliba Lodge for 2 days and really enjoyed the peaceful, beautiful setting and the friendly service. The food was excellent, the views incredible and the facilities comfortable. We have a few small complaints: Our shower was hot and cold (maybe a faulty gas geyser?), the service was at times quite slow, and the towels in the massage...

This is like no other place I have been to; it is truly on the edge of civilisation yet offering 5 * luxury. At the head of a valley with stunning views the mountains beckon you to the progressive wilderness down marked mountain trails. An adventurous hikers heaven with the scenary spiritually uplifting and completely unspoilt. Getting across the many...

These guys know service and excellence. Its pricy but it's good value. The are amazing hikes and natural swimming pools to enjoy and some extreme relaxation to be done. And the staff is helpfull, creative and heartwarming. A must visit when you can spare a buck.

Maliba Lodge is absolutley breathtaking! From the minute we got there, to the minute we left, we felt warmly welcome. The friendly staff worked to make every aspect of our stay comfortable. The food was absolutley delicious, and the room was spacious, even with an extra twin bed for our daughter.
