We were greeted with friendly staff. The room was very clean and it was quiet.
International roast coffee is absolutely the pits, so I'm glad I took my own. The shower was really good and the aircon worked excellent. Our stay would've been awesome if the bed didn't have a deep dip in the middle making for two terrible nights. Our sleep was so bad the first night we turned the mattress around ,accidentally pulling the valance away. Sorry about that, but it was so heavy and room was small we couldn't put it back on.
If the mattresses get replaced I would stay again. But the most important things on holiday are a good comfortable sleep, good shower ,location and quite room and friendly welcoming staff. So as you can tell we were only let down by the old mattress that needs replacing. People really want a good night's sleep on their relaxing time away . Also looking forward to a getaway that they have saved hard for,. Cheers.

It is your typical old motel but with new beds and new flat screen tv's it is better than the 3.5 star rating. The owners are Chinese and love what they do and will very soon be Aussies! I have stayed here on many many occasions and always sleep well. For the light sleeper request a room away from the road. For families looking for a break they have a number of "Executive" rooms which have full cooking facilities and multiple bedrooms. Why do I know this? I have stayed so many times I have had the tour. There is a nice little pool for the kids or to cool down in summer as well as a BBQ. Easy walk along the foreshore to the restaurants and bars at The Entrance.

Room Tip: Light sleepers request a room away from the road, although its not that loud anyway.

We were met with a very big smile and happy manager/owner. We have previously stayed in The Entrance at motels/resorts that were a lot more expensive and could not justify the extra expense. This motel is not on the "tourist strip" and we found we had a very good night sleep
as the road outside was not busy. The bathroom has recently been renovated and the room was very clean. We had a delicious room service meal (lasagne and veges). We will definitely stay here next time we are in the area.

Now that we heard from the ‘Blind’ man’s side of the story, I think the public ought to know the TRUTH of what actually happened.

* The ‘Blind’ man was rude and violent to the Motel manager. He had his hand (in a fist) up in the air attacking the motel manager.

* Motel manager backed off into the office and called the Police. ‘Blind’ man escaped whilst the police was on their way. If the reasons are on his side, why doesn't he wait for the police to come and let the police determine who's right and who's wrong?

* ‘Blind’ man was racially abusive to the motel manager.

After the incident, the ‘Blind’ man demanded for money. The Motel refused so the ‘Blind’ man went to newspaper and gives the motel a bad reputation. Where is the justice here?

The Motel has solid evidence as well as witnesses who saw what happened. What about the ‘Blind’ man?

The motel has a high reputation in the area. The Manager is well educated and highly regarded in the neighborhood who understands the laws and regulations.

The newspaper should get the FACTS right first before publishing it to the public. They have responsibility in misleading the public about this incident.

First of all, I was attracted by the Motel's pathway which has lights on both side while on my way to The Entrance.
We decided to come back here after an uneasy experience with a Waters Resort which discriminates us.

Lake Front Motel is run by husband & wife and we were greeted cheerfully and felt very welcomed, we escaped from hell and come to heaven. What a day?

I still remember the "Wow" when we walked into our room, it is well decorated in British country style.
The bed is very comfortable and the mattress quality is good.
The TV's picture quality is excellent. Everything in the room looks new and clean.

Next morning before check out, we have a walk around the Motel and we can see the owner have put in a lot of effort to make this happening.

I have no hesitation in offering my strong recommendation to stay at this motel. I have just returned from a 6 night stay at Lake Front. Wilson, the owner manager was extremely friendly from the moment I made the booking on the phone until the day I left. I was away from my family and in an area I had never been before and without a car. Wilson offered his service as a driver should I need one (which I did one rainy morning...) The bed was comfortable and the room more than adequate. He was approachable and affable. Thank you Wilson and Wendy for adding to my successful business trip

My family booked to stay here for a few days at Easter. They refused to let us stay because my husband is blind and has a guide dog. Not to mention this is against the law, it is no way to treat another person. We had to drive all the way home again. I would not recommend staying here, wyong shire weren't much help either.

J J, I have stayed here over 30 times and have seen the owners provide accomodation for abused people free of charge or at very reduced rates on numerous occasions, they go out of their way to help. I do not believe blind mans story and I think you are full of $hit. J J don't stay here again, the place is better without you. This is the most friendly place I stay on the coast, better than lots of stars in Terrigal as far as I'm concerned.

I, and 2 friends stayed in this motel for the second time while visiting the area. The reception welcome was great, the rooms were well equipped (tea making, iron, toaster, multi-channel TV, etc) the room decorations are lovely, and the breakfast is huge! Considring the location, the facilities, the value for money, and the welcome, I can only give this motel a "highly recommended".
