We spent 3 nights in Kookaburra Cottage which was immaculately clean but still had lots of character and additional touches such as fresh flowers and a good range of teas and coffee. Private bush outlook and very quiet.

What a beautiful position this lovely place is situated, I can’t believe how quiet, cozy, inviting and simply relaxing here is. Greg the owner is a very friendly and helpful man that looks as though he is always working to make improvements. The little cabin is just so cute with a double bed upstairs and a large single and small single behind a curtain in the next room. The large open fire is the best we walked into a cozy warm cabin the fire already lit for us. There is another cabin on the property which is a little more modern, there are a couple of Alpacas which are very cute, 2 little doggies. On around 13 acres and surrounded by bush and a mudbrick home which is Greg’s and a mudbrick pentagon structure which is in the process of being renovated, a mudbrick shed it all just blends into the environment.

What a lovely spot - This cottage is nice and quiet in a beautiful setting. It has a comfy bed, nice warm shower, open fire, and everything you could want. Wake up to the sound of birds. TV, DVDs and books. Great for relaxing and re-charging the batteries Close to Beaufort and Mt Cole.
