Arrived at the lovely Trans Resort right on check-in time. The entire check-in process was simple and seamless, just like we recall it was during our previous 8 night stay in August 2018.
We again opted for club extras which we thoroughly enjoyed. Ayu gave my wife and I such wonderful, personalised and attentive service each day as did the other staff in the club lounge while April got our evening drinks off to a sweet, tasty start at the lobby lounge.
Nathalie was as helpful as always on the front desk. All of the Trans Resort front desk staff are thoroughly professional and highly trained. I would list them all if I could.
Breakfast was wonderful. Unlimited barista made coffees assured that I got my mornings off to a perfect start. A wide variety of fresh clean food from all corners of the globe. Service in the breakfast area was attentive even though many staff were being trained.
The quality of food in the restaurant and throughout the resort is most definitely of a high standard.
Alex the wonderful GM dropped by to welcome us back and to get feedback on our resort experience as well as on the newly opened Trans Studio Bali that we visited a couple of days prior, which he is now also overseeing. He's one of the most proactive bosses in Bali and the reason that high standards remain high.
Laundry. For 200k idr nett (Approx $21 AUD), the Trans will wash and press a full large laundry bag of your dirty clothes. That is such a winning proposition and a tremendous opportunity for guests to either continue with their travels or go home with lovely smelling clean clothes at very reasonable pricing for a luxury resort such as this.
Speaking of luxury, this place oozes it. The resort build quality was first rate from start to finish and as a result, the rooms and general areas are holding up magnificently, showing next to no signs of wear. Quality throughout.
Housekeeping was thorough each day and turn down service each night was consistent and welcomed.
The pool with its built-in beach is inviting and a great spot to laze the days away.
I'm struggling to find any negatives about our overall experience.
We truly enjoyed both of our stays at Trans Resort, so in all confidence know that we'll return once again and look forward to doing so.

Trans Resort is the perfect destination for romance and relaxation. They try hard to make everything perfect and they succeed! The rooms are huge, with comfortable bed, great desk, roomy sitting area and a massive bathroom with a full bathtub, rainwater shower and everything you need if you forget to bring your toiletries! Best of all is the balcony with its spa bath, daybed and drying area. There are curtains on the balcony for complete privacy. A spa bath with a citrus bath bomb (supplied daily) is the perfect way to wrap up the day. The resort gym has everything you’d want. Great equipment, separate male and female facilities with steam room, sauna, hot and cold plunge pools, lockers and so on. There are a full range of activities for kids every day, and seperate organised activities for adults, including free exercise classes or great walks every morning. Beginners yoga outdoors was great! As was the beach walk. The 80 metre long outdoor pool is fantastic with a shallow end for the kids, separated from the deeper main pool. The shallow pool has a sand bottom and its own lovely white sand beach. The spa is gorgeous and the ambiance and service for our couples’ massage was second to none. The breakfast buffet is extensive and offers a fantastic combination of standard fair plus changing Indonesian and international cuisines. The Indonesian buffet on Friday night was a cultural experience with authentic cuisine and a fantastic show of Balinese traditional dancing. There’s live music in the foyer bar in the evenings which is a great way to relax before dinner either at the hotel or around the corner at the famed Mama San restaurant. There’s a free shuttle service to the beach or main shopping areas throughout the day. I can’t recommend the Trans Resort highly enough. A big shout out to Manager Mariusz who is hands on, checking with customers personally to keep standards high.

I have stayed in five star hotels and resorts before but never experienced anything like this. Every single staff member here is pure gold, and I think that's because management seems to love on them and encourage them and build them up. The floor staff from the amazing bartenders, to the waiters to the hosts to the concierges all make an incredible effort and make you feel so valued. I took my wife and little baby boy with me and many times as I had a thought about even a tiny inconvenience, the staff were on it (I was about to move my son before the son hit him, and an attendant came along and ensured there was an umbrella for him, multiple times). We booked through luxury escapes and it was such value for money. My wife and I want to return in a year or two, and then bring some friends and family with us hopefully. This has been a hard time for our world, but this hotel has made memories for us.
Special thanks to Putu, Norris, Indri, Gede, Jodi, Tya, Mary, Widyu, and to be honest there's so many more. The concierges and bartenders were always incredible also.
The facilities are very generous. We loved putting our baby boy in the man-made "beach" nearly every day, our room for an entry level room was huge, we were always well stocked with bottled water, had a day bed and spa outside and had so many hidden extras. Every night by the lobby was live music that was fantastic.
I couldn't encourage people enough to go here. It's great for families, for couples, for singles, for business people.
Everyone greets you with a smile and I need to stress this majorly - I've been to Europe and other parts of Asia and always been pushed to take my business to certain restaurants or services that are linked with the hotel - but this hotel just gave me unbiased advice and gave me suggestions based on quality, based on price, based on location, etc.

This place was lovely however not 5 star. 3 nights between xmas and new years was $1400, for that type of money I expected much better. The pool was so warm that it was pointless swimming. We booked a king bed and ended up with 2 singles. There was an opened half drank beer in the fridge. We ordered an omelette for breakfast at the buffet which just never turned up, after 30 mins we just left. The lifts are very slow. We booked 9 hours before our arrival and when we turned up they couldnt find our booking and check in took approx 30mins for them to finally find the booking. Positives about this resort were the staff Their english was fantastic! It's in a fairly good location right next to an ATM, grab and gojek are allowed to pick you up and drop you off.

We stayed at The Trans for the last four nights after travelling around Bali and we were not disappointed! We wanted somewhere we could relax for a few days after we’d been busy exploring. The Trans is the most amazing hotel we’ve stayed in, the staff pay so much attention to detail with everything. The rooms were gorgeous with a hot tub on the balcony and the comfiest beds I’ve ever slept in. The breakfast is amazing, it’s a buffet with so much choice. The pool area is lovely for relaxing in the daytime, we didn’t have kids with us but it would be great for kids too as there seemed to be loads of activities for them to do. The best bit of the hotel is the friendly staff, they go over and above to make sure you have the best time. We would definitely recommend staying here and if we ever come back to Bali we’ll be checking back in. Thanks for a great end to our holiday!

After much research, we booked the Trans resort following an amazing 3-week stay at the Plataran suites. The villa did not disappoint: it was gorgeous and you could tell no expense was spared; design, furniture and fittings were world class and faultless. The F&B food and service was excellent as well. We booked one night as a trial and planned to extend another 2 weeks but left for Nusa Dua the next day for 2 reasons: 1) Outside the villa there were not much green space in hotel grounds and the streets outside were not very pleasant to walk. 2) From check-in to our stay, management staff lacked sincerity and were very transactional. First, on check-in they said like other guests we would be upgraded to a villa because of low occupancy. When I showed them I had actually booked a villa and the price included afternoon tea and laundry all in writing, their response was that afternoon tea and laundry was mistakenly included due to a website error, but they would do us a favour to provide. Then when I asked them if we could extend the stay for another 2 weeks, they initially gave us a daily rate that was higher than the one night we had booked, again saying they were doing us a favour. I only expected they would at least match the same rate, which later they came back to agree but minus laundry. Even though the rate was much lower than what we had paid for the Plataran suites and the villa more beautiful, the villa became a cold four walls for us and we didn't feel at home as we didn't want anyone doing us any favors. Having managed many businesses, I can understand that a villa like this is burdened with high payback on a heavy investment, but we moved on after breakfast to hotels we are accustomed to, where we've always wanted to give back more to staff that appreciated us staying there.

The Trans had the friendliest staff I have ever come across, everyone was so willing to help and give advice of places to go and see. The housekeeping here was incredibly thorough, coming to your room 2x a day to check if there was anything we needed. We stayed in their standard room and it was beautiful, the shower was amazing, the bed was comfy and we had 24 hour room service.
The location turned out to be perfect and if anything was too far to walk, Bluebird taxis were constantly available.
Only thing I want to mention as we weren’t aware before we booked is that the pool closed at 7pm.
Overall we had a really really great stay at The Trans and I definitely recommend!

All the amenities and luxuries one could ask for when travelling. Staff are extremely polite and helpful. Hotel is clean and extremely secure. Hugh variety at breakfast and the Spa has a great variety of services (although a little pricey). Pool can become a little noisy at times, but it is a resort and plenty of families around. A great stay and will be back again!

This was my 2nd stay at Trans resort 1st time stayed in their villa, and this time in their hotel.. Located on the sunset road, and very close to the busy Seminyak Road (walking distance), making it very convenient.. You can avoid Seminyak traffic by walking to the busy area.. However, the down side is the hotel do not have access to any beach or the ocean view..
My family enjoyed the pool area.. my baby girl loves playing with the sand.. It was a safe place for her to play in the sand because she can be in the water and play with the sand, without being afraid of ocean wave..
My only negative review for the hotel is it's breakfast food.. It was just mehh.. If you have been to other 5* hotels in Bali, especially in Nusa dua Area, you know how glorious the breakfast scenes are.. And unfortunately, The Trans Bfast was just okay.. The food didn't look appealing, the selection was limited and the tasted was just bland.. We stayed in March, it was said that the tourists weren't much due to the fear of covid-19 but the service was just okay.. When I was seated for my bfast, no server came to offer me coffee/tea, I had to call up servers to get my coffee. For a not so crowded place, this was such a turn-off for me..
However, I ordered in room service and some snacks by the pool that turned out to be delicious.. I wasn't sure what happened during breakfast that they can't seem to provide the best service/food..

My husband and I have just spent 7 days at The Trans Resort in the Seminyak area of Bali, very close to ‘eat street’. The resort is set in beautiful gardens which are very well maintained. There is a central pool area complete with a sandy beach at one end, a duty lifeguard and ample numbers of comfortable sun beds. During our stay we had the pleasure of staying initially in one of the resort’s large rooms and then in a private villa. The rooms were extremely clean, comfortable and very well appointed with luxurious bath robes, slippers and good quality toiletries.The villa was set in a beautiful landscaped garden complete with a private pool, gazebo and external shower. The villa itself was large, with a huge bed, lounge area and a jacuzzi! Again, everything was spotlessly clean and extremely well appointed. Another of the highlights of staying at The Trans resort was the food. The breakfast buffet was huge, varied and catered to all tastes! The coffee was excellent too. Finally, but not least, I wish to acknowledge the staff of the resort. Every single person we came into contact with - from the security staff at the front entrance/reception/restaurant/bar/spa/room service team through to the management team, greeted us warmly and with a smile. They were friendly, efficient and helpful - nothing was too much trouble. Sincere thanks to all of you for making our stay so special and memorable.
