The rooftop pool is nice and huge with a good view at one end.
The restaurant food is delicious and has great variety
The cleanliness factor is a major issue. The Jacuzzi was dirty and not cleaned up properly. I had to clean it up myself before using it. The washroom has a horrible stench and no matter how much freshener one sprays the stench refuses to go. The jet of the washroom commode is outright uncomfortable. Some pressure points of the Jacuzzi did not work properly. The housekeeping agreed to clean up the washroom but it just wasn't clean enough even after they made the room. The payment is also a little weird whereby if the booking has been made on a card they need to dip the card for a nominal refundable deposit. However, the refund doesn't happen on the card but is handed over to people at check-out via cash. Since, it is a nominal amount one doesn't care, but it is not fair that the amount is debited on card and refunded in cash. The location of the hotel is also not great, it is not at the beach-side, not in the market area or on a main road though not far from the main road. They also have an in-house buggy ride to take people to the main road, which doesn’t function after a particular hour in the night which means that if one wants to walk back after a late dinner/party then they have to walk through the desolated lane in which the hotel entrance is situated. The curtains were not shutting properly in one of the rooms.If one skips the Jacuzzi tub in the room, then one can look at other options at similar rates.

However, we are very saddened to learn that your experience did not go as expected. Especially the cleanliness that felt below your expectation where I have shared your views to our Chief Housekeeper for further improvement and rectification to avoid this happening in the future. We are very happy to know that you loved our rooftop pool as well as the food served at our premises. In regard to your comment about the location of the hotel. It is true that de Vins Sky Hotel is not centrally located on the main street of Seminyak. But we are close to some famous places such as Potato Head, Kudeta, W hotel and to reach the shopping center called Seminyak Square is only a 25 minutes walk. While the beach itself could be reached 15 minutes on foot. We also provide buggy services run throughout the day that will take people to these areas. Once again we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience that you had, which could have been done better. Despite the unfortunate experience that you appear to have encountered, We do hope that we will have the opportunity to welcome you back in the future to experience the true services of the DEVINS family. We stayed here for 5 nights. Arriving late, check in was very quick. First room 125 had very bad leaking air con which soaked the sofa over night but the next morning they moved us to 616 with no issues and it’s was great. Room was huge with a whirlpool on the balcony. The bed was massive and so comfy! On the times we bumped into the housekeeping team, they were polite and helpful, leaving an extra towel I had asked for on a daily basis.

The breakfast was fantastic, lots of variety and some foods cooked to order (eggs, pancakes etc). We really enjoyed this. There is a separate vegetarian menu available also!

Great rooftop pool, views were lovely particularly at sunset. Could do with some more umbrellas/shade as it is very hot! The only thing we would mention is that drinks seemed a little more expensive than elsewhere (especially after added tax and service charge).

The free shuttle to the end of the road, the beach or the square was a bonus. It’s a shame it doesn’t offer a return though.

Staff were amazing, always prompt and offering more coffee etc. Everyone was happy to help, polite and always spoke on passing. Thank you!

We would like to say thank you to Jery, who paid particular attention to our food/drink orders and our routine! He made us laugh, spent time chatting to us and was really helpful with information for our travels. A genuine, lovely guy! Thanks Jery!

Everything was great , staff are very friendly & great with smile all time but the current construction at the site was driven us crazy. We can’t really relax & chill at the hotel or in the room as the construction was on going and it’s very loud in our room. So ended up we forced to leave the hotel and find place to go as our initial plan is to have more chill time in our room with the jacuzzi but it’s just so hard to stand for the noise for continuously 4 to 5 hrs non-stop. I personally think management have the responsibility to advice customer in their booking page, as this is could really ruin your mood for a relaxing holiday. I would love to rate this place for 4 star but this trip I probably will only rate 3.

The hotel needs a all over makeover. The rust marks were visible everywhere upstairs buffet area and pool area had visible black mould on pool cushions. The bar had a rusty old fridge. Poor breakfast buffet some days had no protein you have to request bacon and even then it's a strip. The staff were lovely but the language barrier became frustrating and the confusion was clear when calling reception and not being able to communicate basic requests. $100 p/n for a whirlpool room that had no cutlery, cups, wine glasses not even a bottle opener drawers were empty. Do yourself a favour and book elsewhere you have far better options the photos are out of date probably from when it was first booked.

We're regretfully to hear about the bad experience you've had and everything you mentioned in this review is being reviewed to determine what steps need to be taken to improve our products and services. Development training programs are in place to enhance staff knowledge as well as improve their communication skills to be able to communicate in a better way. All of our rooms are equipped with standard room amenities such as hairdryer, safety deposit box mugs, kettle jug, microwave, etc. We do not provide cutlery and wine glasses in the room except for the Devins Suite room. However guests can always have it by call room service and the staff will be very happy to deliver it to the room. We also provide a bottle opener in each room and it is located above the sink cabinet We're very sorry to learn that you did not enjoy the breakfast prepared by our culinary team. We have a wide variety of breakfast from Western to Asian food and we even have an Indian corner for those who want to experience a different style of food. We also have an egg station where guests can order egg dishes based on their preferences. We are stripe to improve our products, that's why we have just started some renovations of our rooms and also some of the public areas will be also getting special treatment to keep them looking up to date. Once again we would like to apologize if some parts of our service did not meet your expectations and hope we can earn your trust for another visit to witness that we made some improvements. The hotel makes a worn out impression -standard rooms on second floor are dark and in not good condition. Rooms can't open window. Dont expect to find picture match reality. Wifi in rooms not existing in other areas weak and patchy.I was one of a handful guest in the hotel and even with that the staff were unwilling to provide an upgrade. I understand the limited menue with not many guest to serve but that shouldn't limit the quality. The beef paddy was slim and before frozen that I can get better at mcd if I order in a restaurant I expect fresh meat paddies and products just not the same I could do at home.
Overall I dont see value for money and at these times businesses just have towalk the extra mile not less- i dont feel that understanding by the managment.

Couldn't fault the service: staff friendly, and very helpful with any needs. Room facilities were good with plenty of power points, and a great bed. Breakfast selection catered for all needs, and once again the staff were excellent. Rooftop pool is spacious, but is tiled with local stone which makes it look unsanitary, it is also shallow and in full sun, so by late afternoon is quite warm and less than refreshing.

The downsides for the hotel are twofold: 1. It's location, and 2. It is in need of some TLC.
Location: while it is only some 200 metres from the beach, there is no direct access to it - that requires a circuitous trip of about a kilometre to get to the supervised part (between the flags). On the positive side, there is a free shuttle for short distance travel (it's some 200 metres to eat street down a side street).
TLC: apart from the entrance hall, the facilities are showing clear signs of lack of maintenance - bathroom had traces of mould, small crazing in plaster, in need of a repaint. The hot water system is totally inadequate (some mornings it took 3-4 minutes to get anything other than cold water in the shower, hot water would have been a bonus). Others were having the same experience. Another couple had to change rooms as their ceiling was leaking.

We won't be returning.

This hotel is not the best situated but nevertheless it is very comfortable and most of all, we found the staff to be the friendliest and most helpful we have ever encountered at a hotel. They really made us feel really welcome and made our visit so much more enjoyable.
We were placed in a superior room on the ground floor. The room was really well sized and comfortable. We had a television with a good number of channels though not necessarily what we wanted ourselves.
The breakfasts were very good and we enjoyed them whilst sitting at the rooftop venue overlooking the lovely scenery and with an open plan situation. The evening menus were more restricted but the food was well presented and nicely cooked. The restaurant was not busy and some attempt was made to provide entertainment.
Outside was not easy walking but I suppose that is fairly typical of the area. We enjoyed our stay and would certainly consider going there again

We booked for 4 nights, but extended for an extra night, the service is one of the best we have experienced, few issues with our room, all sorted easily. The staff cannot do enough for you here.
The location is very good, free shuttle service to beach and shopping centre, we walked back a few times also. It is a small walk to main road, however not too far.
Also enquire to book directly you may get a better price.
The roof pool is lovely also, stayed for sunset one night which we great, food was nice.
Breakfast was ok, nothing special but nothing to complain about , the view is great.

Lots of spas near by, we also used a local laundry service , which was much cheaper than the hotel service.
Would defo stay here again .

A genuinely memorable stay at de Vin’s Sky Hotel in Seminyak . It is a small boutique hotel located around 7-10 mins walk from the main road & 15 mins walk from the beach. A one way shuttle service is offered to the shops and beach till 9 pm. Despite renovations in progress on the rooftop there is access to the pool and rooftop bar which offers great deals on cocktails and drinks at set times of the day.
Excellent genuine customer service with friendly smiles and attention to detail from Ms Aseh & her Team really made our trip enjoyable and comfortable.
They went above and beyond to accomodate our requests and were committed to making their guests feel valued and welcome .
The buffet breakfast is great value and a separate vegetarian menu is available for vegetarians too.
The spa is reasonably priced and offers a range of treatments. Overall, the accomodation is reasonably priced and great value with genuine Balinese hospitality.
A big thank you to Ms Aseh, Sami, Gusti , Diana, the staff at the front desk and at breakfast for making our stay truly wonderful and memorable.

We stayed for 6 nights this time and also this was our second time booked in De Vins Sky Seminyak. Service was great starting from security, reception, housekeeping, management, and restaurant, they were excellent. The location is also great, there are many choices around for eating, close to a couple of famous beach clubs, close to a supermarket, it's pretty much located surrounding a busy area but not too close to the main road so you will not hear the traffic. We had a room issue on the first night, We passed our concern to management and Mrs Asih solved our problem quickly. Their breakfast is nice with plenty of choices and they have a coffee machine and you can order as much as you can! Oka and his friend in restaurants are so friendly and keep checking guests if they need more assistance. Housekeeping did a great job cleaning the room. So tidy and clean! They also provided a shower area in the SPA if your flight is at night. They are very nice to hold and keep your luggage if you don’t want to go to the airport too early. There is a Buggy who can drop you off anytime in the Seminyak area. TV channel pretty much covers enough for international movies but for movie lovers like us, is not a smart TV, so there is no Netflix or other movie app. They offered dinner with entertainment, we joined one of them with a Balinese Dance! That was a great experience and the food was yummy! We had a great time staying here just like our first experience. We surely will come back again.

Yes the hotel supplies pool towels. You have to trade a room plastic identifier that you get when you check-in. You trade this identifier for a towel and then get it back when you return the towel at the pool. At check out if you don't have the identifier then the hotel will charge you a towel purchase fee.

Not in the rooms . But just ring house keeping they will send one to your room with a ironing board . I suggest you do it early in the day as they only have so many available .
