We had a group booking for an event well in advance with many confirmations and even a face to face booking to be now told a few weeks out it’s been double booked with a regular group of 50 school kids. Plenty of us that were booked have all be financially disadvantaged due to this cancellation! Be aware if you are thinking of using this venue you might want to rethink it…

This venue is perfect for our requirements and I believe it’s the 5th time Redland Rhapsody Chorus have held our music retreat here. This year we had nearly 50 of us stay and it all went perfectly without a hitch. The staff are very accommodating and the food packages really well done. It’s difficult to find a venue for a reasonable price that can accommodate this many people, without us having to climb into bunk beds in a dormitory situation, with shared showers. (A real plus!) It’s a beautiful location and we look forward to our retreat s each year. We’ll be back in 2023.

This was Redland Rhapsody Chorus third visit to Maroochy Waterfront for our retreat. As always, the views are beautiful to gaze at while we sing. The staff are friendly and very accommodating and the meals excellent!

Last week we brought our group of Year 6 students to Maroochy Waterfront for a Leadership Camp. From the moment we arrived the venue had all of our staff and students feeling very relaxed and peaceful. The grounds were wonderful from the gardens to the breathtaking view of the waterfront that we were fortunate to wake up each morning looking at. The facilities were fantastic and catered for our group perfectly, including the use of the hall for a prayer space during our evening liturgy. Students and staff alike were amazed by the cabins, especially the private en suites and individual air conditioning systems to ensure a comfortable sleep.

Who puts a kettle in a room with no cuppa making sachets, sugar and milk with it? This place! Very poor! No toiletries, one towel for 4 days and a very uncomfortable and small bed. We were told rooms were selling fast, we check in and next to no one else there - not impressed and will not be back

The women had a great time! Facilities was nice and clean. Beds were comfortable. Food were nutritious and delicious, we were allowed to go back for second serves😊. We booked 2x 2 bedroom rooms at the same time for our family, yet the rooms were miles apart. Staff were reluctant to help resolve. The rooms are very outdated, mould on the bathroom sealing and every tap in the bathroom dropped water all night.

Walked into our room which measured approx 4 meters x 4 meters with no cupboards, no kettle, looks like a vary cheap motel room. Over painted wall sockets, cracked walls and paint work. mold and broken fittings. sliding toilet door kept opening by itself and has no lock. Beds were very uncomfortable... The place is very run down in our opinion. Flashback to the 80's or perhaps just our sections of rooms were like this. I cannot comment on other rooms. On a positive note.......the staff were very friendly.

I attended the Maroochy Waterfront Camp and Conference Centre as a guest speaker for a weekend writing retreat. I had a little trouble finding it and as it was Sunday, there was no one on reception to direct me to the conference. But the venue was lovely, simple but functional.
