This family-run eco-farm hotel is worth a visit. The hotel part is pretty basic as stand-alone. The rooms a charming l, but basic and could benefit from some mainstream. The farm is a closed-loop and homegrown and homemade (ask for a tour). The hotel in itself is a *** experience but the restaurant is ***** (see separate review 'heavenly homegrown')...

This was truly a great experience. We travelled with our two children, but left them in the room when we enjoyed a fantastic meal in the evening (we all liked it better that way). Food and wine was wonderful and we were served by the owner who really conveyed a passion for nature, organic farming and good food. Cheeses were...

Fine hotel in rural surroundings. When opening a window in our room, we had a flock of sheep just outside the window (they were taken in at night). The rooms are situated in different buildings, all very charming. Impeccable service. As we arrived on midsummer´s eve (a main holiday in Sweden, and the only day in the year the restaurant...

Worth a visit, both for a stay or for a lunch or dinner, the family driven, eco friendly place stand out from the rest. Close to Malmoe in a nice countryside setting the service is emminent, the location nice, the food from own breed and the rooms spacoius and very nice botique style.

A nice little place to have lunch. Everything is handmade and done while you are waiting, and everything with top quality food. The restaurant is having a large ecologic footprint. Service is really down to earth with a good smile. I like this place.

I stayed with my family as part of a 40th Birthday event. Overnight with dinner. We had a lovely time - first the setting. This hotel is part of a working farm and that is part of the charm. We were lucky enough to see new piglets, new lambs and baby calves. We had an escorted guide around the farm...

Top notch place and ambiance for a wedding arrangement. We arranged the wedding for our youngest daughter at Ängavallen the last weekend in June this year from Friday evening to Sunday morning. It all went perfect from start to end. .The food is all grown, brought up and made from the very start at the site and is excellent. All...

After arriving in Sweden we stayed here for the first night of our touring holiday, we were not disappointed. The room was very comfortable; clean and warm. Dinner was amazing, 3/4 courses plus appetisers. During the evening the owner of the hotel/farm came over and chatted to us about the history or the hotel and his farming techniques.

this is an organic farm with hotel/B&B and restaurant. In a nice setting Claes to Malmoe and Trelleborg, 15 km to a very nice beach and small harbour. The famile room was OK! Not very Big but sufficient for 2 nights. Nice bathroom. The TV was worth nothing.Wi-fi signal was bad in the room.

We stayed at Ängavallen a couple of weeks ago. The property is lovely and food is top noch. Everything is organic as well and most ingredients are locally produced. For a B&B in this price range the room was, however, way to small, with less then a meter between the bed and the walls. Service was also highly varying, with...
