This place had been on my bucketlist for a long time, and maybe my expectations were too high or it was just bad luck but unfortunately there were a few things that put a dampener on our holiday. We had booked a 2 night stay in the studio apartment, which is small but lovely and the king size bed is great. However, on our first night we were woken up at 12.30am by the fire alarm and being told to evacuate. By 1.30am we were allowed back in but it was a difficult nights sleep. The next day we hoped to nap by the pool, but guests with children were visiting and were bomb diving/throwing toys, etc. I was in a deep nap and was woken up by a splash to the face. This happened to me twice, even after I moved to the opposite end of the pool. When I gave up and went to our room for a nap, I found out the air conditioning was broken and it was too hot in the room to sleep. It was a series of unfortunate events! There is also only one elevator and it’s a bit glitchy and can take a long time to arrive. The pool also closes at 7pm and it would have been lovely to be able to come back from an early dinner to enjoy the spa a bit more. The things that we loved included the staff - they were so friendly and accommodating and allowed our friends to park underneath as guests while we enjoyed dinner together in Noosa (thank you!). The unlimited pool towels, gate straight onto the beach and the infinity pool were also amazing. Unfortunately, for the price, there were just a few too many things that ruined our short stay. I understand a few of these are outside of the hotel’s control. I really do wish our stay had met my expectations and it was the relaxing holiday I had dreamed of after a few stressful weeks at work.…
Best position in Noosa. Amazing waterfront views. Great staff, comfortable rooms and everything you need for a relaxing stay. Many restaurants and shops at your doorstep. Surf and pool a few steps from your balcony. We loved it and will be back. X
Unfortunately very noisy from Hastings street, the room fully closed up and could still hear people on the street until 2am. Unless you are happy to party until 2am .. We don’t recommend staying at Tingirana.
This is our favourite place to stay in Noosa. You can’t beat the views abs the apartments are so nice -From the comfy beds and lounge chairs to the Nespresso machine! We brought our 2 year old and the cot was set up in the spacious second bedroom and he loved his temporary room. Everything just feels easy here from checkin to check out . We will be back!
We stayed for the Noosa triathlon and splurged on staying here. It can't be beat for location, the pool is fabulous, the staff friendly and helpful. We actually only stayed in one of the little studios, but it suited our needs perfectly. I definitely want to come back next year and upgrade to an apartment. It was a little noisy at night as the studio is closest to Hastings St. I imagine the apartments at the front might be quieter. Highly recommend, and great for families as well as couples.
