Great superkind staff, at reception, pool, restaurant and beach. Friendly monkeys in the garden. Huge apartment with seaview, strange furniture though. Good watersupply. Excellent beach, red flag all week which was weird and we didn't much care about. Great massage and fresh juicebar by the beach too.

The Bejelo Beach hotel & staff madevelopment our holiday special. We helped with the distribution of water bottles and playground equipment to the local schools. They gave us a fantastic welcome too dancing & singing. It was very rewarding. The hotel was comfortable & clean and not far from the beach.

We spent 2 weeks holiday at Bijilo beach hotel and we were very satisfied with it.Room was clean, swimming pool nice and clean, staff friendly, breakfast very good and tasty. The only bad thing was that the towels seemed quite dirty even they were changed daily. Garden is also beautiful.

Although not a big, fancy 5* kind of place, I have just returned from my 3rd stay at Bijilo Beach and I will be back again for the forseeable future. When you first arrive it looks like nothing, but once into the gardens and out onto the beach it's lovely. The staff are so friendly and nothing is too much...

Have just spent a week at this hotel I will certainly Not go there again. The rooms were not very clean, shower curtains black with mould/mildew, grouting around tiles black. Toilets badly stained, dirty water bubbling up through a 'drain' hole in bathroom. Lamp shades broken, holes in curtains & table cloths, wiring very suspect, chipped crockery, litter over gardens,...

We are just back from 10 days at this hotel & can confirm we all had a great stay/holiday. Yes, the hotel is a bit run down at present due to lack of visitors (this is general for west Africa at present due to Ebola) but every effort is made by the staff to make sure our stay is an...

We don't use the rooms here so cant comment on them, we stay at my Dads compound and have been coming to Bijilo Beach Hotel for years to use the beach as we love it here. The sunbeds on the beach are free, you do have to pay if you are a non guest by the pool, we prefer the...

This hotel is worn, except for the cleaning staff and restaurant staff, so behave rest of the staff as bumsters. You can not be in peace anywhere in the hotel, constantly being shouted at you, in short, a hotel I do not want to return to. Service at this hotel, you get only if you pay for it - and...

“The wifi coverage is not great in the rooms and we usually went to reception to get a good connection. I assume that the rooms closer to reception may have better wi-fi but ours did have a nice sea/beach view!”
