The only downside is the poor soundproofing of the rooms.
It is close to the center of the city but it is a steep climb to get there, but it is also part of the holiday to get a little exercise and the reward is at the end of the road.
We recommend it
For the rest, the rooms have damp spots and plaster peelings (photo); the doors are old, with peeling frames, hastily repainted and exposed nails (photo); the saucer in the bathroom is peeled and sharp (photo).
Upon our arrival the room was quite dirty (there was even a hair in the headboard of the bed), so we asked to clean it up. On the way back we found detergent in the room and a crumpled cloth on the floor (photo), but the cleaning had not improved.
Breakfast takes place on the terrace, with paper cups and paper placemats fluttering; too many plastic bottles of water and juice, empty and left spilled on the tables. The products are mediocre and the tables are not numbered, so the only waitress passes with an overloaded tray between the tables (of which there are a dozen) asking everyone who ordered what...
The staff overall are friendly and helpful, but this hotel is definitely not worth the €250 per night we shelled out.
In addition you may not access the hotel with a rented scooter so you have to walk .
Staff is kind but it’s just not good enough
